Hello, did anyone on here ovulate around the 16th-18th November and want to be cycle buddies, and ride out this wait together? 🥰

Hello! Yes. My app thinks it was the 16th but I think it was slightly later possibly thr 18th. However I didn't track any metrics, it's juet based on my dates of typical cycles. What about you, were you tracking your ovulation more closely? I'm kind of losing hope myself this month as I've started feeling like AF is coming.

Hello! 🥰 nope, I wasn't tracking anything like LH strips or BBT...just went by EWCM and ovulation pains. First month off the pill and my body is completely out of whack. I feel AF pains too but we could be experiencing implantation or fluctuating hormones...we are still so early and there's still hope! 🤞🏻 I couldn't help but take a test tonight, because I'm slightly crazy.

Ah yes, the first cycle off the pill can be a bit unpredictable but it's a good sign if you were able to detect EWCM. And you are right, early pregnancy can be exactly like PMS so we are both still in with a chance.
One thing that's made me think I'm not is that I usually get (sorry if TMI) itching around my vulva a few days before every period, I think it's a hormone thing. But I have it this month which makes me think perhaps AF is coming as usual. I also have a bit of lower backache which is also typical for me.
I don't blame you for doing a test, it's such a long wait isn't it? I'm trying not to test before I'm late as I know I might end up spending loads on tests and I know that testing for days would probably raise my anxiety as well.
Is this your first go at TTC or do you have children already?

@LoopyLeela Morning lovely 🥰 don't worry, nothing is too TMI for me! Ah it's so difficult to be sure isn't it - the itching does sound hormonal, and it's so difficult to tell whether it's your period coming or just a part of your normal cycle which could happen even if you were pregnant - it definitely does not mean you are out yet! It's just a waiting game, and it's awful. I'm such a control freak around this type of thing, and I know stress isn't good when TTC! Absolutely, try not test until you're late - I will try my best to do the same too because it is so anxiety-inducing and I have such bad line eyes. This is my first go at TTC, no other children, but I did have a chemical pregnancy in May whilst I was on contraception. What about you? Xxx

I totally get your need to be in control! I think anything to do with health and the body is a big thing for anxiety, because we feel like we should be able to control all of it but ultimately we can't. I'm also scared of reading too much into evap lines, I dread getting carried away and then let down. It is also my first go at TTC ever, so maybe our excitement is making us overthink every little thing? I'm sorry to hear about your chemical earlier this year, that must have been difficult especially considering you weren't trying at the time.
I'm feeling kind of the same as yesterday today. Ever so slightly crampy and a bit tense/ tired, very much like my period is on its way. How are you feeling today?
My period is due anywhere from Friday to next Tuesday, since I'm usually 28 days but the past few cycles have annoyingly been a bit longer. However I think if it's not here by Saturday I will test, as I wont be able to wait much longer than that!

Absolutely, it isn't in our control so I am trying to let go and let whatever happens happen, but I'm also such a type A person so it's proving to be quite difficult! 😂 I am also feeling rather crampy today, I feel like AF is on the way too. And I had some chicken and then I couldn't even it, it made me feel sick. But I think I'm reading into it. I think I'm due anytime between the 29th (Saturday) and the 3rd (Wednesday) so also close to you. But I already think I'm out, but, trying to be positive but I don't want my hopes to be completely shattered if there's a negative test. I think I'll try and test Sunday. I also have some lower back ache which I usually get a few days before AF makes her arrival 🥲

@Pinkllama12 Haha thanks! I am a bit of a wreck tbh with symptoms, I've had light pink spotting to now light brown spotting since Monday and I feel like it made me quite confident it was maybe implantation bleeding but now it's been 3 days I feel totally lost!
I want to test so badly but know it's early!
How are feeling??

It's so easy to read too much into symptoms isn't it! When my period was later than usual the other month I was focusing on every little thing that felt different and I convinced myself I was pregnant! Turns out I wasn't and AF turned up as usual. So this month I'm just trying to rife it out til I'm actually late. Luckily being busy at work this week is helping me take my mind off it, but it's in the evenings when I have time to myself that I find my mind wandering!
Sunday sounds like a good day to test. You would likely see an accurate result either way by then I think.

Do you usually get spotting before e period? It's so unfair when our bodies so something unusual to make us think things are different. I've been struggling with longer than normal cycles but it only started when I started TTC 😫😅

Nope! It is making me feel crazy! Haha.
We took the last 2 months off from trying and not a single symptom before AF apart from some cramps and dark brown spotting a few hours before full flow, so now I am like extra convinced but don't want to be let down!

I think I will test Friday ay the earliest as due on either Sunday or Monday!

@Kayleaaa I absolutely know what you mean by feeling crazy! Not knowing what's going on with your body 😅 definitely try to take your mind off overthinking, although I know it's hard.
I have everything crossed for all 3 of us this week! 🤞

I just feel a bit like I usually do when my period is coming. Tired, moody and also a bit of backache/ twinges in my lower belly. I am currently thinking it's more likely my period is.gonna be here by the weekend. How are you feeling this evening, is the spotting still ongoing?

Hello! I decided to keep myself busy this afternoon and evening and spring clean the house! 😂 @Kayleaaa the spotting could be very promising, and I have everything crossed for you! PLEASE keep us updated! @LoopyLeela how are you feeling tonight? For some reason, I've just lost all hope. I know I'm so early. I think I could of actually ovulated the 18th instead of the 16th/17th - with EWCM late at night the 17th which puts me at 8dpo! Ahhh, I'm driving myself slightly mad overnalzying everything! Hope we all get positives at the end! ❤️

Spotting still going but seems less, I have a cold and the bed rest is no distraction so I have caved and asked DH to pick me up some tests! I think I'd rather just see the BFN rather than speculate or not at this point!

I hope you're both doing okay tonight! @LoopyLeela I feel quite hopeless too tbh, this is the absolute worst part of the cycle. I actually quite enjoy getting AF purely because theres zero worries to be had for a while! 😂

That's fair enough, sometimes you just have to know, don't you? Are you using the extra sensitive ones that can detect early or just the regular ones?
Did you know that cold symptoms can sometimes come on in early pregnancy? I hope that's a good sign for you!
This is definitely the hardest part of the cycle, I agree wholeheartedly. Now convinced AF is coming because I'm getting really pissed off at minor things 😂

Yeah true! It could be more the mental load than any hormonal effect. A mix of both is maddening!
I was thinking earlier how it's awful really that we find out something so big at the time of the month when we can be so fragile! Now I'm tempted to test 😫😂 maybe just to prove to myself AF is on her way

I think somewhere between 8 and 10 DPO but not even 100%. Also not sure if this would show up on a regular test at all of i was pregnant. I do have an early detection test in as well as the cheapies but I don't really want to use that unless I feel more like it's likely 😅
Do you know how many DPO you are, is it about the same as me?x

I have 20 cheapies waiting for me in my drawer that arrived today from Amazon! 😆😂 I'm telling myself NO, but I want to know, but it would probably be negative and then I'd be gutted.
I think around 8dpo aswell but not 100% sure xx

Yeah same boat, then! I didn't test this eve and I'm going to bed now. I don't think we'd get a very accurate result now either way, better to wait at least a little longer. Hope.you have a peaceful night 🌙
