BBT drop to baseline 9 DPO and BFP hope?

First time posting here! This is my second month of TTC and I’ve spent the last two weeks or so analysing everything! I’m 37. I’ve been following my cycle and my Apple Watch is linked to Natural Cycles. It’s imported my last 10 cycles which is handy as I can see trends! I was really hopeful things would just happen first time (naive I know) but I’m 9/10 DPO today and my temperature has dropped right back to baseline which is always what happens before my period. I took an early test this morning too and it was negative. Just wanted to check with others if this means I’m definitely out this cycle as I’m new to all of this. My cycle is usually 28 days.

Sorry I know this wasn’t your question but out of interested does you Apple watch inform the natural cycles app about BBT or do you use a mouth thermometer?

Apple Watch takes my temperature every morning and that feeds into natural cycles automatically each morning :) it’s very useful to know when you’ve ovulated!

If this was my chart I'd assume I'm not pregnant this month. My temperature can do different things before 9dpo, but it is always always high every day from 9dpo onwards if I'm pregnant. But I am experienced at charting, have been pregnant five times, and use a mouth thermometer, which is more accurate. If you haven't been pregnant yet you don't know what your pregnant cycle might look like, so you can't know for sure. The commonest day for implantation is 9dpo, so chances are, your body doesn't actually know if you are pregnant or not yet!

@TheRolyPolyByrd thank you. I’m assuming as much as well :(. I suppose it’s a wait and see game now and fingers crossed for next cycle if this one doesn’t work out.
