Evaporation lines outside of test window

Hi all

My period was a few days late this cycle. I did a few pink dye tests and only one showed a faint (seemingly) positive result in the test window. It was faint but still a clear second line.

However, later the same day my period started. I've since done a clear blue which says "not pregnant".

Just been to empty the bin, and all the negative pink dye tests of the last few days now have 2 clear pink lines.

Does that usually happen or could it have been a chemical?

Really need to get to the bottom of it because my husband has actually had a vasectomy and if it was a chemical, something has gone wrong!

Outside of the test window discard, but if you had one come up during the test window then it could be a chemical. Can your husband go and have an assessment done to see if the vasectomy has been effective?

Thanks for replying!

Yeah I think he'll have to. I'm torn between thinking it was a chemical and thinking it was an error, it was fairly faint (but pink) in the test window. But then period came before I could repeat it.

But don't want to assume it was an error just in case!

Yeah probably safer not to assume if you’re not hoping for another pregnancy 😅
