Brown blood 9dpo - am I out?

So I think I ovulated on 11th/12th October (had positive opks both days). I’m now roughly 9dpo, and have had brown bleeding today. Only when wiping and only once so far. I had a faint positive yesterday and then all negatives since. Am I out?? Period is due next Monday/Tuesday. Wondering if this is my period starting earlier. Anyone had similar?

You're only out when your period starts or/ and you have a negative test when your period is late.

That’s what I’m worried about, that this is the start of my period just a week earlier than it’s due :/

Sorry OP, I had similar and it was a chemical pregnancy. I started properly bleeding at 14DPO.

It could have been a little implantation bleeding?

Does implantation bleeding happen at 9dpo? I thought it was a few days after ovulation

It can happen right up to 9DPO, sometimes as late as 10!

Hi @Mamabear256 when I was pregnant with my son I had implantation bleeding at 11dpo and enough to make me think it was my period starting so you’re well within the realms of potential implantation bleeding. Keeping my fingers crossed for you

Fingers xd for some good news. Some early spotting can be normal and what woman always forget is that brown spotting is old blood so it could have been in your uterus for days if not longer before coming away. Implantation spotting doesnt always come away the exact time or day implantation occurs. Also you could be testing too early and the faint positives could have been evap lines. Test again if you miss a period and the bleeding/spotting stops.
