TTC baby number 2 - anyone else?!

Hi, I have an 18 week old & we’ve decided this month to start TTC baby number 2, as we’re both on the older side (38 & 44) so don’t want to leave it too long as it took a year for our first.

anyone else trying for baby number 2 that would like to join for support in this journey, no matter the age gap.

Where abouts are you in your cycle?

Hi.
I’m currently on day 11 of my cycle. My ovulation is always around day 13 before my pregnancy so fingers crossed it stays that way. My tests are starting to get stronger so I think it’s getting there.
Hopefully Monday/Tuesday will be my start of the TWW

Hi can I join? TTC no.4 but I also have an 18 week old and starting now as on the older side (40). My DS and DD1 are teenagers so hoping for DD2 to have a sibling close in age to grow up with.
I peaked on a LH test this morning, CD16 for me today.

Definitely come join us. I’m almost at my peak I think now so fingers crossed for either later or tomorrow

Fingers crossed! Has your cycle returned to normal? My cycle seems a little longer since DD2 but I am hoping as it has still been fairly regular it will be ok.

Yeah, my period restarted at 10 1/2 weeks pp. I’ve been back to a 28 day cycle, although this month my period arrived a week early 🤷🏼‍♀️

How is the TWW going for you both? I have ordered some cheap test strips for next week, I know I will soon be tempted to start checking.

Can I join? I’m not actually sure how to join but I’ve a 9 month old and also on the older team (40) so we’ll give it a crack!
I am still breastfeeding though but I just ordered OvuSense to try and track ovulation because I’ve never had any success with strips 😀

TTW is torture, forgot how much I hate this part lol.
I'm totally unhinged as I’m only 6dpo today and I’ve just done a test….negative as expected as it’s too early.

I'm getting so many symptoms that I had with my daughter though, my boobs are so sore which I get occasionally coming up to my period but not always, I’ve been very cramps & very irritable….I'm going to wait to test again till Friday as AF is due Tuesday but my last pregnancy I tested positive 6 days early so we shall see.

@narwhalsarereal you are definitely not alone in feeling unhinged when it comes to early testing 😂 I will be joining you shortly, I am not holding out much hope for this month though.
Thinking back to last year I don't remember feeling any different before getting a positive, it took a week or two longer before any real symptoms hit.
Fingers crossed this week isn't too torturous whilst you wait to test again 🤞

Cycle 2 of ttc baby no 2!

We are early 30’s and our DS is 3 years old

I’ve lost 2 babies first trimester before having DS but managed to conceive all 3 pregnancies in the first couple months.

hoping for a smoother journey this time appreciate it might take longer as my periods have been up the whack since DS and I’ve been diagnosed with PCOS and now also in my 30s

Can I join? Currently 6dpo in cycle 4, DD will be 4 in January. She was a happy accident so we are new to TTC, god it’s draining! Good luck everyone x

Well……this was a shock. I’m only 10dpo but I noticed signs I had when I was pregnant with my daughter.

There’s going to be about 13 months between them

@Maybeanother we went on a 7year journey to conceive our first. So it was a long time coming. Another would be nice. But I already climbed the mountain and I’m happy just taking in the view if that’s the way of things.
