Watery blood discharge.

Hi everyone wondered if you can shed some light as extremely worried what is happening with my cycle. Me and DH haven’t been actively trying to conceive DC2 however have both been open to the idea of just see what happens. We are both 36 and already have 1 DC . I believe I ovulated around 19th I don’t track ovulation to the tea or temp read but I did get a surge on clear blue test on the 18th (static smiley) not sure if this guarantees ovulation has occurred . I am now 2 days late and had watery light pink CM on Friday evening with awful cramps in my back and tummy . Just thought AF would arrive by the morning which it didn’t . The CM was just there when I wiped nothing that sunk into my pants etc (sorry if TMI) I have done a test today and it was negative. I am just worried that it could be that my body isnt ovulation or failed? Can you still bleed if you don’t ovulate? I haven’t ever missed a cycle and never had this CM before. I just wondered if anyone has experienced this ?

I had bloody cm with my last pregnancy was only there when I wiped. A positive didn’t show until 2 days later. What kind of test are you using?

it could be that your body tried to ovulate around 19th and didn’t then tried again a few days later what cycle day are you on?

Thank you, I am on cycle 4 of TTC . I used a boots 5 days early pink dye test . I did test 2 days after today . Honestly so unsure. I just wondered if I my body hasn’t ovulated this month and I got a light spotting as result of failed ovulation?

i think sometimes to body is just odd and likes to throw a spanner in the works on occasion 🙈 I once had a random cycle that was 37 days for no reason. We were not trying at the time so was having a right panic 😅

I have always found those boots tests very reliable. I believe you would still bleed even if no egg is released I think it’s not until the egg implants and produces hcg that it tells the body to hold onto your lining. It’s more likely that you have ovulated later than your positive opk would suggest.

unfortunately I think all you can do is wait.

have you checked to see where your cervix is? Low cervix would mean AF is fairly imminent. High cervix is a good sign that she isn’t coming yet.

Thank you , no I haven’t checked my cervix I think AF flow is coming as the bleeding has started again this morning , however it’s only spotting nothing to fill a pad. I am hoping this the start! Our bodies are very strange lol I have lost a lot of weight recently am on thyroid medication so I think my body is a little messed up at the moment.
