Falling pregnant 1 day before period is due?

Hi everyone, hope you are well

I’m looking to know has anyone on here or do you know of anyone that fell pregnant days before period was due?

i had unprotected sex 21/09 period was due 22/09 and no sign of AF.

I had 2 periods in August which I’ve never experienced 2 periods in one month before so maybe it’s counting as this month and my period isn’t due?

my typical cycle length is 27-29 days. My last period came on day 20 (1 week early, counting for the 2 periods in one month) my current cycle is on day 31.

obviously because the unprotected sex was 5 days ago it’s too early to test and I’m assuming it’s highly unlikely anyways.

but has this surprisingly happened you or have you heard of it?

Have you had sex at all other than the 21st? It’s possible you had a contraception failure and could be pregnant from that if so. It might be worth doing a test now, and if negative but still mo period in a weeks time, test again then?

I feel like your period could be late for other reasons.
Given your cycle length and the day you had unprotected sex, I think it's very unlikely you would've conceived then.

Given your usual cycle length I would say it’s unlikely but, it is also completely possible to ovulate later than usual out of the blue which can mean 1) your period can be later than expected or 2) if you ovulate a week or two later (around the time of your period) then yes it’s possible to get pregnant.

I would give it a week and take a test if still no period
