Possible pregnancy on missed mini pill

On 11th august i realised i had missed my mini pill for 48 hours then had sex before i took one again. My period is due on monday and im just wondering is it possible to get pregnant by missing my mini pill this long?

Yes, a chance.

Yeah thats what im thinking as the mini pill is least effective if its missed. Will have to wait and see come next week

Is it desogesterel?

Its noriday so youve to take it within the 3 hours, but my last one was 48 hours before i realised

Yes so you have less of a window - more chance of a pregnancy im afraid its 7/7 quick start advice too (instead of 2/7 with desogesterol)

Hey. Just jumping on to say that if your period is due today you would get a definite yes or no on a pregnancy test so don’t drive yourself mad and get to the shop or drs asap! If it’s next Monday. Wait until Saturday to do your test xxx

Hey, yeah im pretty certain im not but you always have that doubt in your mind lol my first daughter i had when i had just came off the same pill so overthinking it all. But thank you for replying ☺️

Your period isn’t ‘due’ on Monday as you don’t have a normal cycle with Noriday. You might experience a bleed that seems to be regular, but it isn’t a period so you cannot rely on it as an indicator that you are or aren’t pregnant.

FWIW, I am a contraception specialist nurse and I took Noriday at the wrong time once on holiday (got my time zones mixed up) and the result of that error has just turned 8 months 🤣

yeah my bleed seems to always come at sane time each month or couple days here or there. Yeah my daughter i was taking the pill every couple days cause i wanted to come off it and i literally got pregnant instantly lol

i took one not long ago and jts negative so im guessing im fine lol
