Sex before transvaginal ultrasound

I’m in the middle of fertile window but have an appt tomorrow which may include a transvaginal ultrasound. Is it acceptable to have sex the morning of the ultrasound? I really don’t want to miss an opportunity this month but also don’t want it to be weird for the person doing it! Although guess as they use some kind of lube it might not matter?

Can’t you do it after?

Have to go to work after! The evening yes - but this ovulation crept up several days early and I think ovulation is tomorrow. That’s why I’m asking - maybe tomorrow evening is fine though. Desperation here clearly!

You can have sex tonight? The sperm will hang around in there for up to a week waiting for the egg, as I understand it.
