Hi Mumsnet World,
I've never done anything like this before but I feel like I'm going a little crazy, have no one to speak to about this and would just like to say it "out loud" and maybe get some opinions.
I have taken some OneStep Amazon pregnancy tests (10ml ones) and below are pics from 12dpo AM (plus negative colours), 12dpo PM and this eve 13dpo. All pics were taken after about 4 mins and looked the same within the 3 min window. The first couple I was sure I was willing myself to see something that wasn't there so looked at a few online threads and read about evaporation lines/early faint lines/dodgy tests etc. I wanted to wait until tomorrow morning but really needed to pee then thought sod it. I feel like I can see a faint line still and it has a pink hue.
I then read some negative reviews and some heartbreaking false positive stories about the Amazon OneStep tests which is what I've used. So then I whipped put another test to see if my bathroom tap is with child - figured if that was faint it was dud tests and I could try and accept it's not happening for me - but the last pic I feel it is clear the tap is deffo not expecting, so I'm back to wondering if I actually am!
I guess I'd just like to share this experience and see if anyone else is going/has gone through this.
At the risk of rambling - just a bit of background - I have PCOS and I'm nearly 40 with no kids. Pregnancy wasn't in the cards for me and my ex (for about 8 years). I'm not currently trying but I have always had a fear it would just never happen for me despite wanting to be a parent so this is a horrible crazy rollercoaster that I feel I'm on alone. I've had some cramps the past week or so, tender nips on and off, and have been stuffing my face non-stop the past week but I think that's more stress! I know I've tested early (miscounted initially and got my weeks wrong) and I will test again soon (trying really hard to leave it a few days)... but yeah, just hoping sharing this helps somehow.
Oh, also heard negative things about blue dye tests, clear blue, and digital tests - not sure what is left to go with! Any recommendations?
