Start of a positive or not ?

Hey everyone I’m 8 DPO and I’ve just took a FREAR Test this evening as I had lots of cramping on and off last night. It’s come up with this it looks like the start of a positive or am I seeing things !!! So excited if this is the start of a positive … nothing has shown like this the past 3 cycles always been stark white.

Could be an indent but if there’s pink it could be!!

Is there colour to it in real life? It looks quite grey but it could be the picture.

Having stared at hundreds of these over the years I can say it’s definitely a BFP….its a bit early for such a dark line though…..are you sure you are 8DPO? The only BFP I had that dark at 8DPO was with my twins 😳

Hi thanks ladies !! there’s some slight colour to it but it’s not showing on the photos. My Premom app is saying 8DPO going off LH tests etc but maybe it’s slightly off going to test again in the morning and then when my partner gets home from being away on Friday and keep it as a surprise until then!! Eeee god twins 🙈🙈 couldn’t imagine that but I would be happy either way!

Have you ever seen a FRER indent? They can look quite prominent despite not being a real positive unfortunately.

I'd assume BFP!

@Guant yes I’ve seen these I’ve been trying to compare but I think mines more pink than the indents attached a closer one

That is what mine looked like at 7DPO OP - just one baby each time (and sure of the dates as it was IVF). Turns out I have very high HCG.

fingers crossed for your test tomorrow - mine were sometimes darker in the evening. It’s torture to wait but good luck!!! Xx

Yes I’ve seen the FRER indents before - 10 years of infertility and a lot of IVF has had me stare at far more than I’ve ever wanted to - the indents tend to be grey - that’s definitely got colour and easily captured on a phone camera - no messing about with filters etc

If it helps this is mine today at 10dpo and definitely positive as confirmed on a digital. Horray! Congratulations looks hopeful for you!
