Ttc baby number 2 July 2025(after miscarriage)

Hi all, I’ve had 7 miscarriages- 4 before my daughter and 3 since. I’m currently on cd 3 and want to start ttc again. Anyone else?

I’m TTC cycle 4 after 2 miscarriages. I had DC1 prior to all this with no issues. Fingers toes and everything else crossed for us! I’m not holding out much hope for this cycle I’m afraid 😟 it doesn’t feel like anything is happening only 5DPO but still 🫠

Hi I’m on cycle 9 ttc baby number 2, have had 4 early miscarriages this time so far. Think I’m 1/2dpo at the moment. Have started on baby aspirin from
ovulation this cycle to see if it helps 🙏🏻

I'm TTC baby number 2. Have had 2 miscarriages this year so far (both on first month of trying strangely!). Had one surgical management and one natural. Now on 3DPO and already starting to go a little bit crazy...

Sorry you've all had miscarriages too but nice to find others who will understand

@peepsypopsive been referred but there’s a 30 week wait so don’t think I’ll be seen any time soon 🙄 will give it another few months I think then maybe look at going somewhere private. See how it goes with the aspirin. It’s weird as with my first dd it took me ages to fall pregnant, now this time it seems to happen more easily just doesn’t stick :-(

@Panda34yes I totally understand. I haven’t even been told about what a wait it would be as I don’t even qualify but I’m sure it will be similar. I’m on aspirin too so let’s hope it does something positive 🤞
I don’t know if you guys feel this but it just feels like everyone is pregnant right now. I’m trying to work through it but it seems to be a big trigger for me. A lot of those who had babies the same time as me last time have had no2 or expecting them now and I just feel like I can’t escape it. Also mindful of the fact that I’m lucky to have my little one. It’s a tough one 😣

Sad to be in this club, but... Here I am. Currently having my second miscarriage (first was in March) whilst TTC my second (partner's first).

It sounds as if my NHS trust will do some tests after this second miscarriage (blood tests to check for diabetes and thyroid function) and then will do more tests should I have a third.

I'm probably going to take a little break from TTC once this miscarriage has finished (started bleeding today) but obviously it's just constantly on my mind so wanted to have somewhere to talk about it and to cheer on others and find there is hope and a light at the end of the tunnel.

I'm on cycle 8 after one miscarriage in Novemeber. Due date was at the weekend and pretty sure I ovulated the same day so now just waiting to see what happens.

Yes I was referred and to be honest it wasn’t, only because all the blood tests I had came back as normal. If they had found something then I’d probably feel differently. Saying that we went private and they didn’t find anything either but gradually after each miscarriage they’ve given different medication/added things in x

I’m so sorry for everyone’s losses. It’s just shit & very unfair.

on cd7 today & i can ovulate anywhere from cd15-cd21 so hoping it’ll be sooner rather than later

How’s everyone doing? I’m 7dpo today I think and resisting the urge to test!! I usually try to stick it out to 10dpo. Sad thing is I can’t get excited when I get a bfp as can’t seem to get one to stick 😩

Thinking of going for a private appointment if the aspirin doesn’t help this month or maybe I’ll give it a few months. Can’t be waiting 30 months on the nhs..

I made a decision not to test at all this month until a missed period but unfortunately AF has arrived in all its glory! 🙄 fingers toes and everything crossed for next month 🙏🏻 hopefully you get your BFP this week! X

Hi all cd14 today and still no sign of ovulation.

I had a letter today to say that the last miscarriage I had & was sent for chromosomal testing has had “analysis failure” so it was completely pointless. 7 miscarriages and still no answers. I’m really scared to get pregnant again.

I’m sorry everyone on here as experienced loss. I’ve TTC baby #1 for 2 years and had 3 MMC Cycle 1 TTC again since last loss in March. AF is due Saturday and BFN

@Rainbowmum32 so sorry you’ve had no answers from the latest lost. My testing came back as genetically normal so no answers there

Well 12dpo today and bfn and think I’ve just got AF! Very early for me, usually don’t get period until 15dpo like clockwork.. strange cycle!

Morning Ladies! We had a MC at the start of the month. We’re giving ourselves this month to breathe and the plan is to start ttc next cycle. We’ve got a 3yo little boy and this was our first loss. Sorry to hear about everyone’s losses, sending hugs. It’s so shit when it feels like everyone else around you is getting their babies 🙁 X

we’re in almost exactly the same position. My son is almost 3 and we had a MMC last month. I’m cd9 of my first cycle since the MC snd trying opks for the first time but struggling to get my head around it

Sorry to hear you also had a MC, ours was 7 weeks along. I’ve not had a visit from AF yet but have ovulated so hoping that means my cycle won’t be too out of sync 🤞 we’ve been using opks for a few months, they’re easy once you’re used to them. I use the Premom app as that’s good for logging (you take a pic of opk strip and it saves them so you can see as they get darker).

cd20 and still no positive ovulation test. Haven’t missed it as I’ve been testing like a woman possessed. Really frustrating. I usually ovulate today. I feel like it might affect egg quality or affect the lining of my womb if i ovulate later than this so I think I might call it quits this month now and just wait for my period…. Whenever that will be 🫠

Hi all, can I join?? TTC no #2 from this month.

I had two miscarriages before DS, then did some tests that confirmed low ovarian reserve and severe endometriosis. I was told I may need IVF but then conceived successfully, but was told not to hang about if I wanted a second..I thought I'd start trying when my son turned 1 but I was in the thick of PPD. He turned 2 in June and I've finally opened my heart to the idea again.

But the entire process last time was so shit, everything from TTC to fertility woes to pregnancy to baby just ruined me basically, so I do want another child but my god I'm scared to go through it all again...

I loved engaging with Mumsnet forums last time so hoping this will help again!xx
