We paid £500 for initial fertility tests for both of us to see what treatment we needed. Then a couple of hundred for first cycle of letrozole which included cycle tracking and blood tests to check I had ovulated. We paid £10 for the medication for 3 cycles of letrozole.

The first cycle I ovulated but didn’t get pregnant so the second cycle they were happy for me to just take it without monitoring. Overall less than £1k and conceived second cycle. This was in Shropshire at a clinic that does NHS and private.

They also offered me a clinical trial which compared letrozole/clomid as I have PCOS, which would have been free. But we decided to just pay as we wanted to start treatment immediately.
