Help! IVF - Can more follicles grow?

Hey! New account as I'm a longtime lurker.

Okay - so I'm worried! I started IVF stims on Friday.

At my baseline scan I had a count of 20 follicles and my AMH was 24.67.

I attended my first scan today (After 3 evenings of IVF stims) and they can only see 9 follicles - in total, not based on size.

I'm really worried. I know a day 4 scan is early, but I struggle to understand why my follicles have dropped so much. Has anyone else experienced this?

I'm on 150 of Gonal F. The nurse was shocked and asked my AMH as my numbers are so low.

Did anyone else have a low follicle number which grew?

Yes! I did ivf and only had 7 follicles my amh was 3.1 so much lower than yours. Drink plenty of water for the follicles and positive thinking. Good luck to you. Oh and yes my ivf was successful and iv a perfect little girl

I had 13 follicles at my first scan and ended up with 18 eggs collected xx
