I have read hycosy can boost the chances of pregnancy (clearing the tubes)

Looking for some positive stories 🌸🫶🏼✨

Hi,

No bfp yet but I had a private hycosy early April (so currently on second cycle since) and would recommend.

I had an ectopic and right tube removal August last year so wanted to check all ok with the left tube. I’d heard some horror stories about pain so was worried but thankfully it was ok - like a smear with some extra cramping, easier than a coil fitting!
mine thankfully showed all was ok including a good follicle count so it was reassuring and helped to know we should just keep trying for now.

trying not to get my hopes up too much that it could improve chances the next few months!

I was trying for my daughter for nearly 2 years with no luck and I was sent for a HyCosy. I found the procedure extremely painful because there was a blockage in one of my tubes, but eventually the dye managed to flush through. I had the procedure on 8th July 2021 and my daughter was conceived on 3rd August 2021!

I had a 2nd Hycosy today actually as I have been trying to fall pregnant again with a second, and it was a much more pleasant experience. My tubes were open so it was only small discomfort. Let’s hope that flushing today might also help me a 2nd time!

Hi, just wanted to know how this went for you? I had a Hycosy today I’ve been ttc for 20 months now and no luck. The procedure itself was very painful but so quick. My tubes didn’t have any blockages but she did mention that I had a heart shaped womb which was surprising. Hoping this will increase our chances fingers crossed.

I had one end of March, before ovulation and got pregnant the next cycle. My tubes were clear.

Riya619 · 22/08/2025 19:03

That’s great! So happy it worked out for you. So lovely to hear positive experiences. How many months were you ttc?

Colourful9 · 23/08/2025 15:42

I had my Hycosy last week and ovulation was yesterday (according to LH test) so not sure if it has done anything or not but I’m keeping my fingers crossed!
