5 dpo implantation spotting?

Hey all 👋🏼

Just wondering if anyone has experienced similar… I am only using LH strips this month so going off those I ovulated roughly 5 days ago… I went to the loo this afternoon and wiped to find a bit of stringy pinkish blood mixed in with clear CM… since then I haven’t had anything else, wore a panty liner just incase but nothing appeared after that one time 🤔 Is it too early for implantation?

I’ve previously had 4 losses… two of which were ectopic and one of those ended in me loosing my tube… 💔

I have never experienced implantation bleeding with any of them 🤷🏻‍♀️ Technically not due on for another 6 days!

Any and all advice welcome ✨

@RainbowUnicorn94i hope they don’t tell you off!! That doesn’t sound like it’s what you need…you should at least see something at 5+5 even if it’s just evidence that it’s in the right place.

my experience with my son and my daughter was absolutely horrendous. I had HG with both but was hospitalised very few days in the beginning with my daughter. Thankfully it means they discovered that I have Addison’s disease which means my adrenal glands don’t work and I need to take steroids for life. The steroids are suppressing my HG since they’re the last resort treatment for it…. So I’ve only been sick once and though I feel terrible it’s not a patch on last time.
my due date based on LMP is 02-02-26 so I made a February group!
But based on my ovulation dates (and both scans I’ve had so far) it’s actually 31st January.
we saw everything was ok yesterday, dates tracking, good heartbeat, right amount of growth from last time, so we told our children. Now 8+2

@Bas27Awwww I’m so glad the scan went well and you saw little baby and told the kids ✨🥰 Bet they are so excited! Poor you with your HG and health condition 😞 I’m sorry! I have arthritis so I’m on injections every two weeks, constantly in pain but surprisingly pregnancy hormones help to put me in remission whilst I am pregnant 🤰🏻 I just get a massive flare up afterwards with the hormone drop 📉

Help to put my mind at rest ladies… if I go by my apps I’m around 15/16 dpo today, I had like twingy stitch like pains in my uterus when I was laying in bed last night… convinced myself it was on my left side too which is where my only tube remains… then convinced myself I was going to wake up bleeding… I had to force myself to sleep as I could feel a panic attack coming on! 😮‍💨

I’ve woken up and the pains have gone, just the odd twinge now… no blood or anything, but I’m worried my tests still aren’t dark enough! I know I’m being stupid but I can’t help myself 😭🫠 I have just ordered FRERS and the digital clearblues with weeks indicator to try tomorrow morning just to put my mind at ease 😮‍💨 x

@RainbowUnicorn94 morning! The kind of rumbling feeling is gone and the spotting is still very light. Only when I wipe, nothing on a pad. I wouldn't say much will happen between now and the scan tomorrow.

That's a great bonus that your arthritis goes into remission while you're pregnant!

There is definite progression in those tests. Depending on the test and the sensitivity and how much water you drink can massively affect the test. Some people never get a dye stealer or a 3+ on a digital and all turns out fine! I think the important thing to remember is you are pregnant now x

So I spoke to EPU today and the RMC… they’ve cancelled my appointment for next week as I’m ‘pregnant’ until proven otherwise…. EPU have booked me in for a placement scan on the 9th of July and said if it’s all looking good then they will prescribe me progesterone following the protocols… I just pray I can make it till then 🙏🏼

Still twingy today, but not as bad as last night, have tried to keep my mind off things! Still peeing loads but stressing as my boobs don’t feel as tender 😮‍💨 I’m just going to be a wreck for the whole of this pregnancy I can tell 🤦🏻‍♀️ FRER’s and Clearblues have turned up! So will be doing those tomorrow morning 👍🏼 Will keep you guys posted 🙏🏼 xx

Hi @RainbowUnicorn94 we're back from the scan now. All confirmed like I thought it would be. The sac had grown but still empty with nothing in it. I've opted for the medical management this time which they also recommended as there's less to pass. So I'm going to start the tablets on Thursday morning when my partner finishes his shift, just so I have someone around in case it kicks off early. I've to go back on Thursday morning for the first table and they're going to refer me to the RMC and then we'll go from there I suppose! Feeling exhausted now, it was an emotional morning.

That's good that you've got a scan booked in. How many weeks will you be then? I know, its so nerve wracking. I don't think you'll ever relax after loss until there's a baby in your arms!x

So I called the GP today and explained I was a bit nervous etc… They gave me two bloods forms to use over the next couple of days 👏🏼 I had my first blood draw this afternoon and it’s come back at 219 which I am tentatively happy about (I think I’m 16 dpo ish, 4 weeks 3/4 days) I am just praying they double by Thursday 😮‍💨🙏🏼 They are already looking better than my Ectopic in March so I’m taking that as a plus too! 🤞🏻 I got a 2-3 on the Clearblue this morning and a dye stealer on my FRER ✨

So technically I will be 6 weeks 5 days on the scan day if my app’s are correct 👍🏼 xx

Fingers crossed, I feel like the only thing that could go wrong in the meantime is my progesterone levels as that’s the only thing we aren’t covering until the placement scan 🤔 I’ve had no spotting so I’m taking that as good signs but I’m so used to seeing low readings of progesterone from previous losses (mainly the ectopics when they checked my bloods in hospital) but trying to stay positive… literally every twinge or upset stomach I’m panicking about… certain I’m going to wipe and see blood 🩸 God I hate this waiting game, wish I could click my fingers and it be the 9th of July 😮‍💨✨ xx

The waiting truly is horrible. All the twinges are probably things stretching out or gas/wind. Usually everything can be explained away x

HCG came back on Thursday as 648 ✨🥹 I ended up getting the bloods done a couple hours earlier too as they couldn’t fit me in later! So it had more than doubled in 48 hours 🙏🏼 Praying all is well, this wait is killing me 😮‍💨

Hi @RainbowUnicorn94 I'm doing good thanks. Friday really wasn't too bad at all. I am wondering if it's all come out but I've more tablets to take this morning so hopefully if there is anything left it'll come out today.
I suddenly became absolutely exhausted last night at about 6:30pm. I ended up going to bed at 7pm and slept until 7am this morning! I suppose the adrenaline of the last few days has wore off 🤷🏻‍♀️

Just wanted to pop on and see how you are both doing? ✨

All good my end so far, we found out last week that we are having a baby girl 🤰🏻 I am 17 weeks today due 26.02.26 🌈 Under 5 different consultants after being diagnosed with APS, but so far so good! Aspirin and blood thinning injections are doing there job 💪🏼 Haven’t quite gotten the ‘glow’ everyone talks about in the second trimester just yet as I’m still feeling rotten most days and sick at least once a day too 🤢 But I’m not complaining 🌈

This is amazing 🖤 sorry you’re still feeling rotten but really pleased for you that all is ok. I’m now 21 weeks and we are having a little boy. Expecting a c section at 39 weeks. Usually been doing very well but off work today feeling 🤢🤢🤢

I'm pregnant again, 8 weeks. Getting pregnant isn't my problem, it's staying pregnant! I had a scan at the EPU at 6+3 and we saw the little baba and the heartbeat. They started me on progesterone. I'm very very anxious and worried about another loss. We're away for a week on Monday so I'm hoping that will be a nice distraction. I've the NIPT booked for the 30th of September. I'll be 10 weeks then. I'm cautiously optimistic!

I was on them till 16 weeks… I swear that didn’t help my sickness 🤢 but I’m still bad now so who knows 🤷🏻‍♀️🤣 I used the back entrance every time as the thought of spotting and seeing blood made me panic! It took a bit of getting used to but far less messy 🤭Hope you have a lovely holibobs 🙏🏼

@RainbowUnicorn94 thank you! I haven't gotten excited yet. I'm pretending nothing is happening. Self preservation at its finest 😂 I'm the same, the dread every time I go to the toilet. I take them vaginally and I don't find it too bad. But I'm only taking them a few weeks so let's see 😂 I read that sickness is mostly controlled by rising HCG than the pessaries.

We're really looking forward to the holiday. It'll be a nice distraction. I really wanna get to where you both are. I'd love to be a bit further along. Although, I don't think we'll ever relax until there's a baby in our arms!
