Hi guys. This is my 2nd month of trying to conceive at the age of 40. I already have three ds - my last being born 2yrs.

At the time we had a fertility test and both mine and my partners tests came back very good. I have also had a test for perimenopause which came back negative.

My question is the LH strips ... The pictures I've posted are THE darkest I can get.
I drink a lot of water (low key addicted to water lol) and I'm working during if that could be what's making my tests lighter? I've tested at different times of the day also.

Anyone else not had dark lines and conceived?

Did your tests actually confirm you were ovulating? Lines that light would make me wonder if you are or not, I used these exact tests when TTC and I drink a LOT of water, I still got clear peaks x

Does AF rock up when expected 12-14 days after that dark test? If so that might just mean your peak is very quick and hard to catch with OPKs. I assume that any test much above 0.25 on PreMom for me is indicative of approaching/coming down from a surge

As you say, it might be that you’re too hydrated. I don’t get above a 0.7 on Premom and I do have to drink a bit less and hold my pee during the few days that I test. At work I have a shot glass in my drawer and still do it through the day at work, if you’re not testing at work maybe you’re missing it?
