In the dreaded 2 week wait

Hello lovely ladies, wishing you all luck on your journey. Anybody else currently in the 2 week wait? It has to be the longest wait doesn't it? I am only 2 DPO and already want to test 😭. I know I will shortly start imagining symptoms now too 🙈

@jadiejade definitely still early! Fingers crossed for next time maybe try in 2 days..

I had indent on easy at home last night 😞 and then bled in night and this morning! I’m so confused why AF would be here 8dpo, usually doesn’t come til 14/15dpo.

There is no shame in testing early. We all do it 🙂

I'm tempted to test daily now too. My husband was even very invested. He seen the control line and thought it as positive 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

How very strange. Is there any way it could be implantation?
How is the bleeding?

Oh that is strange . What did your test look like? Same as @jadiejade said could it be implantation. It's around the right time for.that ?

it was bright red in the night like AF colour only when wipe, I don’t think implantation and it’s dark brown when wipe today similar to what I normally get 1-2 days before AF! I’ll post pic of test although can’t see much

Implantation bleeding can be quite dark and heavy. My friend had it and thought it was her period. It wasn't

@mummm2how strange. Cycle could be 3 weeks this time? I had a spell of periods starting early randomly but then they go back on track for a long time after.

I still have sore boobs got cramping in night just felt like period sort of pain. I’m not testing yet though will wait until next week

interesting to know @WishUponAStar4 there’s no more red today just brown when wipe. Got achy boobs, period like cramps and backache. Really does feel like AF starting.

@Itonlytakesone it could be just a shorter cycle I guess.
So today I’m CD29, in Jan and Feb my cycles were 29/27 but I ovulated a lot earlier and my LH was 14/15 days.
Where as this month I ovulated CD21 so would just mean a shorter LH phase I suppose x

12 dpo for me. Had some cramping in day 10 which I would take as a hopeful sign but m, for some unknown reason I seem to be quite prone to cramping at 10 dpo. Then it disappears again until a day or so before AF, which I think should be Sunday or Monday. Very tired, which is normal with progesterone but no other symptoms, which I think is pretty normal in prednisone.

It’s so confusing because iv had all these symptoms before then come on my af anyway. I just think you notice everything because you’re living in ‘I wonder’ so frustrating because you don’t know how to play this bank holiday Prosecco or not! 😨🤣

I think a glass of Prosecco or 2 wouldn't hurt either way, enjoy yourself and hopefully take your mind off this wild wait 🤣

It doesn’t help that all symptoms are pretty much the same.

I also have endo so a lot of symptoms could also just be that too 🫠

Would you not be tempted to test 12dpo. I have no patience whatsoever haha

@Objectiontime@WishUponAStar4 oh I will definitely have tested by 12dpo. @mummm2yeah think a glass of Prosecco won’t harm sat in sun later need to relax and try to stop obsessing anyway

Hi joining the 2 week wait here, been reading through the thread. I am complete opposite I wait until I miss a few days of my period then I test probably has something to do with me ttc for 6 years now. I just hate the way a negative makes me feel I’d rather see AF than a negative and to start my day with a negative every morning just sets the tone for my day sadly. I’m hella invested in the rest of yours wait though and daily tests! Baby dust to alll

I would normally do but since my losses I have become a bit laid back about it to be honest. I think it’s because I want to be pregnant but I am not expecting my body to allow the pregnancy to continue so I’m scared of more heartache and thus ignorance is weirdly bliss. Also, I had a small implantation bleed with my three unsuccessful previous conceptions and I haven’t had any yet this cycle and I always get some definite pregnancy related symptoms really early, like 19/11 dpo and I have nothing but a few cramps at dpo 10. The Pred will mask some of it but I just don’t know which and feel pretty unhopeful x

@Objectiontimei understand it’s pointless and addictive but I test early just so I know where I’m at only if iv symptoms though. Caved and tested today 6dpo bfn. Hopefully by Monday I’ll do another! Iv just had such sore boobs iv been taking paracetamol for them it’s been over 4 days it’s not like me at all. Also stomach pain not bad but there usually at 3am!

Morning all! Another BFN for me 9dpo. On the plus side I think the weird brown cm / spotting has finally stopped!

@Objectiontimesorry to hear about your losses. Can understand why you wouldn’t want to test early, it’s also probably the most sensible thing to do as all I do is cause myself disappointment every morning! 😒

Anyone got any tips for foods or drinks to eat or avoid during the TWW?

I’ve got a few faint but clear BFPs at 8dpo. So so hoping this one sticks around 🤞

Congrats Figpig, that’s great news 🥰. I got a negative today at 13 dpo so I think I am out, again. On to cycle 7 since my last loss and yet another round of steroids 😩
