Hello lovely ladies, wishing you all luck on your journey. Anybody else currently in the 2 week wait? It has to be the longest wait doesn't it? I am only 2 DPO and already want to test 😭. I know I will shortly start imagining symptoms now too 🙈

@WishUponAStar4 have you tested again this afternoon? Maybe you did peak overnight and missed it but like u said it normally lasts a few days. Do you normally peak around CD12 or do you think you’re still waiting for peak?

I was similar last cycle, thought I missed peak overnight CD14 then I actually peaked CD16 - pic attached x

Yep went down to .5 in the afternoon and then .2 just now so I assume thats my peak. Actually no the peak over a couple of days last cycle wasn't the norm for me I usually get a very quick peak so id say this one is right. I will continue to test anyway to be sure. 😊

I started bleeding finally on Monday. Due to start Letrozole tomorrow on CD3. First time doing this and I’m nervous! Starting on 5mg. Has anyone else done Letrozole? Any advice? 😭

I don’t have any experience / advice with letrozole! What is it for? Sorry if I sound really dumb 🙈

I have never used letrozole so sorry I cant be any help but best of luck with it. It's sort of exciting in a way to be starting something that could help 😊

@WishUponAStar4 how are you getting on? Did you confirm your peak? 😍

I spoke with my Dr yesterday and she’s booked me in for bloods when next AF due. Should be interesting…!

Hey ladies, back in on cd10! I always take a week or two to relax before I start testing everyday 😂 I don’t usually peak but last month I did on cd27 😂 the joys of PCOS! Husband has gone for some testing to see if there’s any issues there too. Does anyone have any experience with their partner getting testing? If they identify issues are you usually referred to fertility?

Hope this goes well for you! I’m hopefully going on this when I get a fertility appointment! How have you found it so far?

I am on day 2 taking 5mg. They wanted me to take 2.5 in morning and another 2.5 at night. So far I had headaches which weren’t as bad as they could be, as I do have migraines normally. And super super super tired. But today I woke up with heightened anxiety, it seems to have worsened my normal anxiety a lot so I’m thinking of going down to 2.5 for the rest of the days. I’m not sure why they started me on medium dose anyway.

my first ultrasound is on Monday (on CD8) and she said if the follicles haven’t grown enough yet they’ll inject me with FSH. So I’m not too worried about going down to 2.5mg Letrozole since I have the injections if needed anyway. But yeah mostly just super tired. If you have general anxiety before you start them, they may make it worse. I didn’t take my dose today in morning and it seems to have levelled out a bit.

I’m CD10 today, Premom expects LH peak to be CD16 but I’m hoping it’s a little sooner!

Dr said it’s bloods to check thyroid .. never heard of it before so I’ll have a read up, but she basically said it’s good to have tests done if TTC.

Hey @chlxe97
CD10 here , have you started testing LH?
Good luck to OH! Have you been TTC long? I think there’s certain criteria to meet before NHS will refer! But hopefully all will be okay 🤞🏼

Oo best of luck! I have yes! We’ve been trying 10 months now, I’m on the waitlist for fertility already due to pcos, I know that’s probably not the norm. Our doctors are amazing so I feel very thankful for that. How long have you been trying?

Oh that’s good that you’re on a list ready! How did you know / get diagnosed with PCOS? Was it just from tracking cycles etc?

I‘ve actually only been tracking LH since January and BBT since April. Not been on anything though since having my now 2 year old.

I didn’t get a period for a while after stopping the pill, stopped in September (wasn’t trying til November though) and didn’t get one til Feb! So I went to the doctors and had all the tests etc.

Oo exciting! Sending baby dust and hopefully we’ll get our positives soon

Apparently an under active thyroid can be really bad for conceiving. I was diagnosed a number of years ago and have had my medication increased over that time to 175mg. I tried to get in for a blood test after first month TTC to check my levels were okay, but I have to wait till September. And in the UK they consider you treated if your levels are under 4, but I think under 1.5 is optimal for TTC. So definitely worth being tested. I only found out because I had an increase in pain in my hands. I have fibromyalgia and hyper mobility syndrome anyway, but I noticed an increase in pain and stiffness.

Look like im having another surge. Other 'surge ' was just high LH. Like what you happened you last month . Glad I continued testing. Only tested this evening because ny physical signs were pointing toward it .
