In the dreaded 2 week wait

Hello lovely ladies, wishing you all luck on your journey. Anybody else currently in the 2 week wait? It has to be the longest wait doesn't it? I am only 2 DPO and already want to test 😭. I know I will shortly start imagining symptoms now too 🙈

6/7dpo I’m testing from sometimes twice a day! but I buy cheap ones from Amazon so less than £5 for 20tests

6dpo too but I want to wait for my expected AF date to test...

@Mouche85i think that’s really sensible of you, all advice that we hear is wait until a missed period. if I had the ability not to test I would do the same! I am now at the year mark of ttc so pressure is heightened, it’s definitely not good and I feel for my husband too. I am just eager and trying to see if anything has worked, prefer to know if I am to expect my period than it be a surprise.

I am wondering if I need to take action as of next month if a bfn. Maybe I need to do a hycosy - would be interested to hear from anyone who has done this. Is it intrusive, what does it entail really and could it help?

Hi ladies, hope I can join? This is my second cycle of trying for baby #1. I got pregnant my first cycle but it was a chemical. We tried the cycle right after - I am 2dpo now.

I got some light pink spotting with ovulation this time, which was not usual for me. It was more like pink tinged cm. Bit worried about it all but I am getting a blood test tomorrow to confirm ovulation properly so hopefully all the symptoms I usually get around that time is correct. (Nausea, sore nipples, ovary pain)

Hope it's OK to jump on. I'm 6dpo and dying to start testing even though I know it's to early. This is my first 2ww since Easter when I fell pregnant. Unfortunately we lost the baby at 8.5weeks in May. Already got 2 DD.
Hate the wait and convinced it won't happen for a long time as took 7 months to get pregnant.

the one thing I’d say (although easier said than done) is to give your body some time to heal and recover. I lost my baby in March at 16wks and my cycles are still not fully back to normal yet!

Welcome. And snap with 6dpo. 🙂 so sorry about your loss its not east at all and quite late in the first trimester too. Hope your doing okay.

I know the feeling i feel like it might take a while this time too. I was lucky enough to get pregnant straight away with my daughter but not quite sure my gut feeling is telling me otherwise.

I was going to hold of testing untill Saturday but of course i didnt and tested thismorning. Forgot to look at it as I was running out the door now i see it and wonder if its an evap line 🙈 now i will have to test again 🤣

Its so hard isn't it. Im also waiting until Saturday. I have terrible line eyes!!
My best friend is also pregnant we were due around the same time and it's made this alot harder. Firm believer in everything happens for a reason but still made this whole process extremely difficult. More so unfortunately the baby came out naturally as well. Couldn't believe how many features it would have at that point in pregnancy 😫 here's to satirday testing!!!! Xxx

That is really really tough im sorry your going through all that. My good friend lost her baby at 26 weeks and we were due around the same time. It was really tough for her 😞. I hope to see you with positive tests soon after 🥰

It’s so hard when everyone around is pregnant too, I am in a similar boat with my friends, some even on their second. @WishUponAStar4i tested today and not sure if it is an evap line also 🤯 I went and bought a digital and some pink dye ones today to test tomorrow. I am due my P on Thursday according to Flo. I just want to manage my own expectations so I’m not so disappointed if it arrives x

What test did you take today ? I uploaded a pic but its not approved yet. I know mine is evap though as only 6dpo.

Same as you i think. Yeah ill probably do one tomorrow but then on a run of night shifts so that should keep me from doing any more (well maybe!)
