Positive test just 8 days after conception? Is it even possible??

Hi all. Been TTC since January. My LMP was the 17th of March and according to my app I ovulated on the 31st. I know this is just a rough guesstimate though. DH and I DTD on the 30th. This was the only time DH and I DTD this cycle so the only time I could've conceived.

Well, I took a test today not really expecting to see anything and got this? Is it just me or is there the faintest line? Is it even possible to get a positive test so soon after DTD?

That’s not faint at all, that’s a definite line - congratulations! And yes totally possible to get a line at 8dpo

There’s definitely a line and it’s solid and pink looking too! I think you’ve maybe ovulated a little bit later than your app has predicted!

The embryo can implant as early as 6dpo and hcg can be detected on a test a day or two after so this is completely normal.

Looks good. Im very similar dates wise to you. LMP 16th March.
Got a faint positive today. I think I'm about 10dpo.
