How many DPO are you?

Honestly, I say this in the kindest way possible and not specifically directed at you... but if people stopped testing extremely early and/or stop peeling the tests, inverting images and everything else, they wouldn't suffer this kind of heartache and stress.

Just test after you miss your period like they are intended and you'll have a clear answer..

Good luck!

Iv not inverted the image. And reason I test early is because Iv had 4 consecutive miscarriages, and I’m desperate for my baby. I’m currently 10DPO

I wasn't referring to you specifically..

There are dozens, if not hundreds of posts on Mumsnet where women are doing the exact same thing as you. Squinting at tests at 10DPO. It causes a lot more stress and anxiety than is needed at this time in your cycle.

I understand you desperately want your baby. I'm just saying save yourself the stress and wait until after your period is due/late..

You could have just implanted late etc.

My point is if you just wait until after your period is due, you will have a clearer idea, that's all.

Best of luck to you!

I know what you’re saying. And I also agree with you. But it’s easier said than done. Thanks for your comment and reply though.

I'm struggling to see a line tbh but if you can at 10dpo how do you know it's an evap op?

AnonKat · 08/04/2025 17:16

I've used them and I've not had a problem. Have you used another brand? As it just looks negative sadly.

Youdmakeagreattraitor · 08/04/2025 17:18

I used to find this happened if I accidentally peed on the result bit of the strip. It’s better if you dip them.

I'm sorry I can't see anything, but I would definitely test in a couple of days!

Gotta say, I've never had issues with this brand.
I tested like a mad woman for 20 months when trying for DC2 and never a whiff of a line until we finally got pregnant. First very faint line was the evening of 9dpo, and then a frer the next day confirmed it.

LULU89x Respect what you are saying and agree to a certain extent but some of need to know as early as possible if we might be pregnant as we have medicines like progesterone or steroids or aspirin, etc that we need to start taking as soon as we get a positive test. The difference a few days makes to a lady with a need to take immune medication to potentially save a pregnancy is really important.

Lulu89x · 08/04/2025 21:29

I understand, however testing at 10DPO there’s a possibility that your body hasn’t even implanted yet and you aren’t pregnant yet that’s my point..

I’m not saying wait weeks, I’m saying wait a couple of days until at least your period is due.

It will spare you the headache of trying to look for a positive test when it is unclear, that’s all.
