Implantation cramps and bleeding

TMI
Looking for experiences on implantation cramps and bleeding.

for context I’m 6dpo (I think) or 8 dpo. CD 24. Woke up today as usual (usually I wake up with my period!), went for a walk and came back and noticed I was bleeding lightly. A bit more than I would call ‘spotting’ but not heavy at all. Immediately cramps started, they feel like menstrual cramps and I have had them on and off since 1pm today. I genuinely think I am coming on my period early, but 6dpo is taking the mick a bit considering my last cycle was 46 days!

anyway, just wondering if this could be implantation or more likely my period has come early. Since then, that was the most I have bled, but now I am actually ‘spotting’.

my mood has also suddenly become incredibly volatile so I imagine it’s AF! But just confused why it has come so early.

thanks!

Hi @lilyflower1803 I have had implantation bleeding with both my pregnancies, one DD and one MMC. One on the day my period was due and the other three days before. It was just light spotting and only there when I wiped. I am TTC again now and I thought I had implantation bleeding again but it was actually AF coming three days early and lighter than normal at the start. So at this stage it could go either way!

Thank you so so much for commenting. I think it is AF😢, woke up with cramps today and bleeding has got slightly heavier, still so light though which is unlike me!

Baby dust to you ♥️

I was the exact same. It wasn't my usual period which gave me hope. Baby dust to you too ✨️
