Has anyone found this approach has worked for them?🤨😅

Its age old advice people give and at 13 months ttc #2 I’ve decided this month not to obsessively bbt track (it was becoming all consuming) and although I did use opks I haven’t obsessed over it and I have had a few drinks this tww and trying to put myself in the mindset of ‘you’ve been blessed with one and what will be will be’ etc and generally I am feeling more relaxed.

Im also refusing this month to test early. I have spent so many months taking pictures and squinting over evaps my heart can’t take any more😩

Well the month I got my BFP I was definitely more blasé about it and told myself it was going to be my last go for a bit. Not sure if it had an effect or not but not thinking or stressing about it is a lot easier said than done!

It took us 4 years of not using contraception before I fell pregnant with baby number 2 (not even a sniff of a BFP in all that time).

We went through many cycles of tracking and obsessing over it, sex on the 'right' days etc. I would early test and symptom spot religiously, all to no avail.

Eventually we just came to the conclusion it wasn't meant to be, we were too old and we didn't want to go down the intervention route. We still didn't use contraception but didn't track or consciously try at all, I couldn't even tell you how many cycles of that there were. We just went about our normal lives, had sex whenever we wanted to, no supplements or doing anything in particular.

Then one day I was in the middle of an all inclusive holiday when I suddenly couldn't face a glass of wine one night and wanted to go to bed. The next morning I couldn't face my regular morning coffee then I had to run to the toilets to be sick - my periods were irregular so I wasn't even aware I'd missed one.
Figured it must be a bug or heatstroke but something told me to get a test to rule out pregnancy.
Anyway, long story short, it was a very strong BFP and I'm now 38 weeks.
