Does anyone else’s cervix get low during ovulation opposed to high?

Everywhere I’ve read it says when ovulating your cervix gets high and soft.

Mine is always high then when I ovulate it gets so low and soft and it makes sex painful because penis hits my cervix, this doesn’t happen apart from around cycle day 12-15. It’s horrible. My partner has commented on how he can feel himself hitting it and can’t get all of his penis in like he usually can when not ovulating.

it’s always been the case since my 2nd child was born and I’ve conceived 2 more since then, but in those 2 conceptions and the process of trying for them, my cervix has always been low and hurt during sex.

Does anyone else have a low cervix during ovulation? What are the reasons for it as everything I’m seeing show that it should be high

Hmmmm I think this is what happens to me, although I haven't had a rummage so can't confirm.

But when I have "ovulation pain", it's in my cervix and I can't actually have sex because it's so painful. My minds eye sort of sees that as my cervix opening and being lower than it should be.

Maybe that's why I've never been pregnant.

I’ve read it can be due to increased blood flow to the cervix and as it’s to soft which is why hitting it will hurt more during fertile periods opposed to non fertile period. But I just feel mines lower rather than just more sensitive, especially as partner has commented on not feeling like there’s much room.

It mainly hurts during doggy style (TMI) if he’s on top it’s okay. Everything I’ve read says it goes up though so it’s confusing but I’ve also read it tilts during ovulation
