Sex hurts more whilst ovulating

I’ve never had an issue with sex when I’m not ovulating, it doesn’t hurt at all. But every time I’m ovulating sex hurts because his penis hits my cervix which seems to lower during ovulation. Is this normal? I’ve read it’s supposed to rise not lower but it seems so low during ovulation which makes sex painful

This happens to me every month. I know what side I ovulate from and the day and down to the hours of ovulation because of the pain. I had surgery a year ago to find out what was wrong as gyno wanted to make sure it wasn't endometriosis. It wasn't , but I never got an answer as to why it hurts soo bad. I can't even sit properly when I do ovulate and the pain during sex 🤮 horrific! Sorry I don't have an answer to help you but I fully get it 😩😔 xxx
