Period 4 days late, anyone got a BFP later…

Hi all, just wondering if anyone has experienced something similar. This is our second month TTC. My cycles are typically around 30-31 days, but I’m now 4 days late with no sign of AF!
I took two Clear Blue tests around 10-11 DPO, and they looked like the attached (I assumed it was an indent). However, I’ve since taken other brand tests that came back negative, the last one being on Friday evening.
Has anyone experienced this? I don’t feel particularly stressed, so I’m not sure why I’m late. Has anyone ended up testing positive later on?

Did you confirm ovulation with temping? If so and you can be confident you ovulated exactly when you've stated, what DPO are you now? About 18?

If you only used OPKs to predict ovulation, or you are just guessing when you ovulated based on cycle length, then you probably just ovulated late this cycle. That can happen randomly and doesn't mean anything is wrong.

Thanks for your reply! No I didn’t actually. I usually go by CM and I tend to get ovary twinges from the ovary I ovulate from this started around the 12th of Feb! But I guess it could have been later . According to Flo predictions I would be around 18-19 dpo x

Ah okay. Then I think it's likely you didn't ovulate exactly when you thought. I'd give your period a couple of weeks to show, and chalk it up to a random weird cycle. I the meantime, keep having sex in case you still haven't ovulated!

Would I get negatives straight after?

Yes.

I had a faint positive one day and a stark white the next.

Sorry to say.

I mean this with the upmost respect @LividBoop as you’ve been through it but I do wish people wouldn’t jump to chemical pregnancy, as that is a loss and not something to be assumed or put on the OP.

I had a chemical which was a faint positive followed by quite severe pain and bleeding, a chemical is any loss before 5 weeks.

OP you maybe had a longer cycle this month as PP said, keep bd’ing and testing in case 🙂

Hey there. With my son, I took 2 tests at my normal period due date. Both negative. Period didn't show a week later. Tested again and positive. So as another said, it's likely ovulation wasn't when you expected. So waiting a few more days and then re testing is prob a good shout. I genuinely felt like my period would come any moment though so it did surprise me when I got the positives!

If it helps I conceived one of mine on cycle day 49, on a one-off crazy cycle (I'm normally regular). I only knew to keep TTC because I temp so I knew I hadn't ovulated yet. If I'd not been temping I'd have expected my period on CD30, but it wasn't actually due until CD65! That would have made me 35 days 'late'! 😂 Thank goodness for BBT!
So you're never out, but just keep DTD.
