Hi all, just a quick question has anyone else had no early symptoms but still been pregnant? I'm only 7dpo so i know early but I have absolutely no symptoms at all. I don't even get AF symptoms until the night/morning she comes so its driving me mad symptom spotting when I know I have none, everyone I know or speak to have little signs like sore boobs or cramps even for AF but i never have.
thanks girls

Yes it's quite possible. Lots of people don't get early symptoms.

SimJac2025 · 12/02/2025 07:55

Thanks, its just mad isn't it the TWW symptom spotting constantly, takes over your life. My sister didn't even know til she was 19 weeks gone, had absolutely no clue and here I am looking for anything!

Hey! The one month I got a BFP I didn’t actually have any symptoms and was so convinced I couldn’t be pregnant as a result I didn’t test until 12 DPO which is when AF was due and didn’t arrive (and I’m usually a 8DPO tester). My pregnancy did end in a MMC but the symptoms have nothing to do with it. After the BFP I started to get more symptoms but nothing that was like mind blowing.. the serious symptoms didn’t kick in until 5 weeks!!

SimJac2025 · 12/02/2025 21:35

@KT199 thank you for your reply but sorry about your loss. The body is so strange isn't it! I'm only 7dpo but dont even get AF symptoms!

My only symptom of pregnancy is a missed period. I'm lucky enough to have experienced 2 pregnancies with barely any symptoms other than no periods and expanding tummy.

starrynight009 · 12/02/2025 21:47

I don't remember having any symptoms at all for the first trimester, although I had a feeling I was pregnant even before I took the test.

SimJac2025 · 12/02/2025 22:26

@TheArtfulScreamer1 I am only on month 4 of TTC but even when AF is due get nothing beforehand until she arrives!
@starrynight009 Wow thats great how you knew! Our bodies play so may tricks on us don't they!

I honestly think your body and mind start playing some cruel tricks on you when TTC.

It took us 4 years to conceive DD2 and I had months where I had every 'pregnancy' symptom going yet would get a BFN - even late and completely missed periods!

The time i was actually pregnant, I had no symptoms whatsoever, it just felt like any normal month so I'd already written it off . My earliest symptoms (sore boobs) started around 5 weeks pregnant, the test even later

SimJac2025 · 13/02/2025 06:38

@sel2223 thank you for your reply. It's so weird isn't it we turn into a mad symptoms checking spotting weirdo lol. My dp thinks I'm mad and avoids engaging in any form of symptoms spoting with me lol

Hello! I didn’t get any “classic” symptoms at until I was at least 12 weeks. The only thing I did get was a nosebleed - but I get them anyway so who knows if that was even a thing. Best of luck to you xx

SimJac2025 · 13/02/2025 21:12

@GoldJules Thank you for this! Spend so much time symptom spotting and convince yourself if you dont have any u cant be pregnant!xx

@SimJac2025 i completely understand. I did exactly the same and I remember thinking 10 weeks in - if I’m feeling nothing now, how could I expect to experience symptoms in the first 10 days! Everyone is different but having no symptoms defo defo doesn’t mean you’re not pregnant x

SimJac2025 · 13/02/2025 21:20

@GoldJules Thank you so much! Not many on here have no symptoms and I am lucky I don't get AF symptoms until she actually arrives so having and looking for pg symptoms is driving me wild! xx

@SimJac2025 yes Mumsnet can be a blessing and a curse in this regard! 😂😂. If you read that everyone else is having symptoms and you’re not - it can drive you a bit mad. Good luck - and do let us know how you get on if you feel able to x

takehimjolene · 14/02/2025 09:30

With both of my pregnancies I had absolutely no symptoms (other than missed period) until I started to 'show'. So both times I went to the 12 week scan half expecting to be told that I was not pregnant and the test was wrong. Happy to report that both are now young adults!

Littleonek · 14/02/2025 22:06

So my first pregnancy had so many symptoms sickness, boobs killed, dizziness, tired.

Second pregnancy had nothing and my daughter is now a health five year old. So don't stress it can happen. I didn't get a positive test with her until three days after my period was due. Did so many tests before then all negative.

sel2223 · 15/02/2025 01:55

My mum had 4 kids and never any symptoms with any of us - I wish I'd been so lucky!

SimJac2025 · 15/02/2025 07:53
