Morning!

We have tentatively decided to start trying for our rainbow baby after recently loosing our son who was still born at 35 weeks. We already have a daughter who is 2.
Just wanted to reach out and see if there were any others entering the scary journey of TTC again after loss/stillbirth.

praying for our rainbows soon 🌈

Hello, I just red your post, and it's heartbreaking to know there is lots of mamas like us. I lost my baby boy in June 2024, he was born sleep on 38 weeks. He is our first son, we have been trying naturally even if we did IVF before, may I know when you lost your little one

Peanutbutterjelly123 · 19/02/2025 15:33

@Mamadada I’m so sorry for your loss 🀍 it’s horrible how many people have been through this.
We found out our little boy had passed on the 2nd January and he was born on the 5th. So we have decided to start trying very soon after his loss. But a new pregnancy is going to be hard, and we decided it would be better to try now and deal with all the emotional pain that comes with it along with the grief now, rather than dragging out the anxiety over years.
I have got a small WhatsApp group with a couple of other women ttc if you would like adding? There is a few trying for their rainbow x

I'm so sorry for your loss. We lost our son, Arthur last year,he was born at 23 weeks and lived for 5 days. He is our only child. We have started trying to conceive again but it is such a lonely and scary position to be in, isn't it! Although heart breaking to hear other families stories like yours, I am grateful for groups like this where we can support each other. Sending lots of love to you all.

Sending lots of love to all who have lost.

I lost our daughter, Charlotte in November last year. She arrived at 26 weeks and died three days later. She was conceived via IVF, our first child and we are still waiting for answers as to why she died in order to proceed with IVF again. It's so hard to move forward!

Peanutbutterjelly123 · 19/02/2025 17:04

@Mamadada inbox me your number & ill add you!

@Moosecat29 @tillyxxx so sorry for your losses too, it’s bloody awful isn’t it. It’s such a scary place to be in the TTC world again, especially after being in a position where a BFP or even passing the 12 week mark doesn’t mean you come home with a baby x

I haven't been through this absolutely heartbreaking situation but sending so much love to you ladies that have. It took us over 4 years to conceive our first baby and I'm currently 38+3 with a planned delivery for next Wednesday. I am absolutely petrified of this happening to me in this final week after going through so much battling infertility. I seriously am so sorry for all of your gorgeous babies, and sending you luck for your rainbows 🌈 🀞🏽❀️

He isn't an ivf pregnancy..I fell naturally whilst waiting for infertility help. Was yours because it was ivf? Does that make it more likely? So sorry for your loss x

Mamadada · 19/02/2025 18:04

Personally I think it's already too many of us.
It is heartbreaking, because you have a day's when you think you not gonna handle it more especially when you have your period you can be pretty low.

Yes when you had baby from IVF it suppose to be taken earlier unfortunately everyone think that's not a good reason. My baby boy was from IVF was absolutely gorgeous and healthy. I had three transfers to be able to have him. Now I know nothing is for sure. Even if you are at 38 weeks , please count the baby's kicks , if you think your baby is more active or less active go to hospital. It you think your babies routine has changed something is different just go

Sweet little Charlotte.

We had been waited for the answer for 4 months plus it's been 3 months since I'm waiting for some genetic tests. It is a long process

Peanutbutterjelly123 · 19/02/2025 18:49

@Mamadada I’ll send you a message :)

good luck @anonny55 with your babies arrival ❀️ sounds like it’s been a long road for you, but once your babies here it will all be worth it xx

Hello I hope you don’t mind me messaging ? I lost my baby girl Hallie at 35 weeks a month ago on Saturday ! I had a huge placenta abruption and nearly died myself. I just wondered how you were getting on ?? Have you fallen pregnant again and how is your care with the NHS following a stillbirth? I am so sorry that happened to you xxx
