1dpo too late to bd?

Morning all!

Feeling rotten today as think we missed our window to BD.

I got my peak LH on Friday so ovulation would be Saturday but due to one thing and another we couldn't have intercourse on those days.

We did BD yesterday, but as that's 1DPO I'm thinking we were too late and are already out?

In my head I know we have left it too late but just wondering if there is any hope? Anyone with any experience?

Thank you!

Not totally out, your egg can hang around for 36 hours so fingers crossed x

Hello there! I’m 1dpo today, got positive OPK on Friday but no temp rise till this morning so looks like I ovulated on Sunday.

I feel some very light cramps I know it’s far too early to feel symptoms before implantation but just what I’m feeling.

How long have you been ttc?

Do it anyway! 😊

@Wk77 call me crazy but I knew I was pregnant immediately. I had non stop cramping up until 10DPO where I finally caved and tested - 1 week before my period was due!

@Lulu89x we are new to ttc only been a few months and I know it can take a while, it’s so different for everyone. I’m trying not to symptom spot but in the back of my head I guess I’m worried that we won’t be able to conceive for a long time, there are no known issues on either side but I see so many fertility issues around I wonder if we will also have problems

@BearsLoveBeats how are you feeling today?

@Lulu89x ah this is me! I've had non stop cramping and am 10dpo today, I think! Going to hold off until the weekend to test though. I'm due AF on 17th Feb!

I wasn't even TTC but the symptoms I experienced could not be ignored. My cycles are so regular so the symptoms I had convinced me I was pregnant. That's without the symptom spotting! Before this, I was convinced I was infertile (I'm 35, extremely reckless and no protection but it happened because I ovulated earlier that month!)

@woodpeckersounds If you can, definitely hold off testing until when AF is due. Testing early can be good but it can also send you into a spiral if the tests are inconclusive. By the time AF is due, you should have a clear positive. Good luck! x

@Lulu89x thank you, I will. I'm overthinking everything but I really need to try and take my mind off it! We have a nice weekend planned so that'll take my mind off it I hope!

Hiya, maybe there is still hope for me then. I had ovulation pains on Saturday. I stopped temping a while ago as it was making me even more stressed doing all the tracking.

We have been trying for 2 and half years now. DH has a slightly lower sperm count. We are giving it a couple more months of trying naturally before we start to plan for IVF.

Its so stressful.

How are you feeling today xx

I'm fine really. We have been trying for so long nowand every single cycle I think I feel somthing different and convince myself we are pregnant and it never pans out that way. The disappointment month after month is starting to take its toll. I try my best to stay hopeful though. Its all we can do really isn't it?

Try not to stress. Like you say, everyone is different. Just do what you need to do to get through the TWW! Fingers crossed this is your cycle xx

I was sure we had missed our chance when we didn't DTD on a Friday but on Saturday evening... DD is now almost 3. Good luck!
