WWYD - long haul trip when TTC?

Hi everyone, looking for some advice from people who've been pregnant before please - TTC #1 here so no experience myself! I've been invited on a work trip to the US at the end of March, so was planning to postpone TTC until we get there (should ovulate early April and would be time to test during trip/when we get home) and the months afterwards.

The main reason is I have emetaphohia so already worried about morning sickness/HG and think I'd cope better being able to be at home. I know for some people it never happens, but I'm still worried in case it did and I was on multiple flights, some long haul. DH would be travelling with me which is good.

If we TTC before and it happened quickly, I think I would be either 9/10 weeks or 6/7 weeks when we fly. I wouldn't mind getting insurance and cancelling beforehand if I was feeling rubbish, but my fear is it starting when I get there and it being a rough 2 weeks working away from home & travelling a lot whilst poorly.

However I'm also mindful that I don't want to waste a few cycles though - so mamas who have the experience of pregnancy, WWYD? (I'm 31 in case age is something to consider!)

It's really up to you whether you want to postpone or not but I'd check what your insurance covers if you decide to travel. March isn't that far away so just way if you're that worried.
