Lottie, chat to Nomoremagnolia on the forever thread... she starts her injections for IVF today! x

Nina2 · 15/05/2008 20:00

Thanks fym, I've not seen that book. I started temping after an ectopic a couple of years ago and was warned that I needed to be know immediately when I next became pregnant, so as to keep an eye on things. I've never specifially tried to find out about the mysteries and marvels of temping (the hoo-har is a revelation ) as most of my cycles are usually a very regular 32 days.

Hey-ho, I suppose I must just wait and see and try to relax a little, the two things I'm worst at in the world.

Thanks again.

Lottie thankyou for thinking of me. I felt fine - actually was quite glad and excited that my LP was possibly 14 days - weird to get too excited. Going to take extra vits this month and DH and I have said we will be trying every other day (at least) from cd10 - cd 22even 24... we are away at the start of cd10 until cd19 so have a good chance of managing a good go this month! . To be honest I am at that stage where I don;t want to temp but actually I find it very interesting, so for the next 3 months our focus is more sex - relax and enjoy. If by September nothing has happened I think I will try IUI a couple of times then maybe next year if stil nothing will go for IVF. God I can waffle on can't I.

Hope you are ok and you enjoy your accupuncture, oh and hope DP is ok - shame about the timing, can't you secretly stay close by and pop in every evening without anyone knowing?! Just realised he's sailing - so unless you just happen to be bobbing along close by - tricky... ... must go as have a whole day until 6pm to myself and am going shopping ....
FYM babydust to you....x
Ready hope all is well with you - bet you can't wait for your holiday..

Ready · 16/05/2008 16:40

Minxi, yes, really looking forward to my hol. I am so excited.
Sorry to see you in another cycle. But I am liking your relaxed attitude and plan of action. Good luck! xx

To test or not to test????

I quote from the software....
TCOYF has detected a triphasic temperature pattern which can be indicative of being pregnant. It has been over 10 days since you ovulated, which is long enough for implantation of the fertilized egg to occur. You should consider taking a home pregnancy test.

I had decided not to test until monday - now the blardy software is telling me to test early

however

a) I don't feel at all pregnant (no symptoms even normal non-existent ones). Was actually having a moan at DH yesterday as was convinced I wasn't again this month (in fact still convinced)

b) This morning was an odd temperature - 94.4 an hour early which is high for me - there is no obvious reason - but that is why the software is saying triphasic.

What does anyone think?

fym · 17/05/2008 09:34

I can't this morning as I missed FMU, but I had DECIDED not to test until Monday. And I'm so sure I'm going to be disappointed.

fym · 17/05/2008 09:35

...although I do now have every symptom under the sun....

Morning all......goodness Fym what a lovely looking chart you've got going there....not sure what I'd do really - I try to push it all to the back of my mind now and not test (but am using all the willpower in the world to stop myself from doing it....). Let us know if you cave in !
Not bothered to put my temp in yet - nothing exciting happening - on CD11 and am fluctuating 0.1 degree every day at the moment (my new hoo har temping - less fluctuations for me this month). DH is aware of his duties this weekend !!..

fym · 17/05/2008 14:34

After last month and other peoples experiences I vowed not to test until I was due.... I'll hold out until tomorrow regardless....then I'm thinking see what the temp is am and decide....if I stay triphasic I'll test.

I must say I was impressed with the amount of BDing you had got up to when I noseyed at your chart - how do you manage it with one lo already ! Must give DH a nudge in the right direction !!..... Glad we got another BFP this month.
