Very pale light pink/brown cervical mucus

Currently 5 weeks 1 day and have had lots of CM. The couple of times I've been to the loo, I've wiped and there's like the slightest hint of very light pink/brown tinged cervical mucus mixed into the white CM. My anxiety is through the roof :(

Hi, I didn’t want to read and not reply.

This was me last week. I started with pale pink / brown discharge which over the next few days unfortunately turned into heavy bleeding and clots. But my tests were very faint and didn’t get much darker so I was preparing myself. However… in the few days that I just had the light discharge I was researching and reading hundreds of posts and although it can me the start of an early miscarriage it can also just be early pregnancy symptoms! I did get some light brown discharge with my first child at around 7 weeks. I will keep everything crossed for you xxx

Hi Claire, thank you for responding. Did you have discharge for a couple days before that turned into bleeding or did the discharge stop for a bit before the bleeding began?

Hello! It’s very hard to be calm I know, I had similar with my daughter, I had lots of brown cervical mucus for about 4 weeks every single day and pink occasionally and even bright red once or twice. I had HG which I was hospitalised for and they did an internal exam and couldn’t see any reason for it, had a scan the next day at about 8 weeks and there she was! Happy as Larry. The discharge stopped at about ten weeks but I had loads

i miscarried before and that went from brown/pink to bleeding very quickly. It’s truly so worrying though so I really do feel for you xx

Thank you for responding. I've been trying to stay hopeful. I had the very pale brown spotting yesterday for a couple hours (only obvious when wiping and nothing on pad) and it stopped around 8pm so it's been 24 hours since. But I've been having period like cramps after that though I remember cramping the whole first trimester with my first.

Hi so it’s been 48 hours since my pale brown discharge. I’m still cramping but my pregnancy tests have remained dark so I’m hopeful right now

I think if your pink / brown discharge has stopped and you’ve not started bleeding by now then fingers crossed you’re out of the woods! And that is a very strong line :) x

Thank you! I’ve been feeling so nauseated today. 5 weeks 4 days tomorrow 😊
