Faint positive but no cm on 11dpo

Hi all,

I have been ttc for almost 2 yrs now. I am currently 11 dpo and got a faint positive. Im really scared and can’t celebrate properly as everyone told me they had increased cm when they conceived, I am pretty dry down there.

I’ve also got dull cramps in my left abdomen, I’m scared about getting disappointed again and getting my period 😩.

Did anyone else get a faint positive with no cm?

please help, thanks

Pretty sure I never noticed any change in cm each time I've had a bfp

Doesn’t mean anything. I completely dried up after ovulation. When I say dry I mean DRY like the Sahara desert!

Got my BFP at 10DPO. Currently 15 weeks pregnant.

congrats! ☺️

When I got my BFP at 12dpo, I was dry and had no CM after ovulation and on the lead up to my BFP. I'm now 21dpo (5 weeks) and only started seeing an increase in CM the past week. Some days being way more noticeable than others. I had period like cramps for several days after my BFP like my period was about to come on but that has subsided now and I only cramp occasionally

Such a relief!!! Congratulations to both you 🤍

the plan is to test again tomorrow and for the next few days just to be sure, I’m just so so anxious it’s wild.

Your comments really reassured me x

@AudreyJL thank you, I’ll probably take you up on that.
got another positive test today, still not dark enough. I’ve also had this insane cough for the last ten days, driving me nuts. Not sure if it’s a symptom or if I just caught some viral.

got cramps, which like everyone said is normal, I still get nervous and run to the toilet.

hoping I get more zen and chilled out with time.

Thank you! 😍I hate to break it to you, but once you find out you're pregnant, you'll never relax again! If you aren't worried about one thing, you'll worry about something else! It's just in our nature :)

If it helps, my tests using easy @ home tests never really became super dark nor have I ever gotten any dye stealers!

I don't think a cough is a symptom. Cramping however will be on and off throughout! 15 weeks later I still get the odd cramps here and there.

Did you get any very light brown/pale pink spotting in your first trimester?

Even though it’s my second time being pregnant, I’m still not zen and chilled out. Still googling every symptom I have and my anxiety is through the roof 😅

I didn't have any implantation bleed or light spotting. What I did have was full blown blood and clots around the 7-9 week mark that made me completely spiral! Since then I have been a google maniac! The stress and anxiety never goes away, does it? This is my first pregnancy/baby and I have no idea how people are able to sleep at night. Every little symptom, I'm googling it 😂

I can go for a reassurance scan. 1 hour after the scan, I'll be wondering if my baby is ok! It's becoming a terribly expensive habit!

With my first I bled red blood when I was 8weeks and 5 days. Went in for a reassurance scan the same day and baby’s heartbeat was strong and measuring on point. Sonographer saw a cyst on my ovary. I’m now 5 weeks and 2 days with my second. I had some very light pale brown spotting mixed into my regular cervical mucus yesterday. It’s like barely there unless you pay super close attention when wiping. I’ve had cramps on and off since Tuesday 😅 my anxiety is also through the roof with the spotting but it was only like 4-5 wipes after going to the loo a couple times but nothing this morning so far besides regular period cramps which I had with my first all throughout my first trimester. It’s so hard to not worry

If it's light, try your best to not worry too much! It's only a concern if it's heavy paired with bad cramping. Have you booked an early scan? I had my first scan at exactly 8 weeks and didn't see baby again until my 12 week scan. Crazy how much they grow in a matter of weeks!

As difficult as it is, try to relax and focus on positive things. Have you downloaded any pregnancy apps?

It’s stopped so far after 8pm last night so I’m holding onto hope that everything is okay and it was just some old blood making its way out. I’ve not booked an early scan just yet. Got my first midwife appointment on the 24th. Thankfully I’ve got my toddler to keep me busy. I only have mumsnet and babycentre.

There's plenty on here to keep you busy! Feel free to message me too if you like :)

Goodluck for your midwife app! It is soooo long and boring but I'm sure you remember from the first time!

I remember it being pure paperwork. I need to remember to pop into my GP to pick up a pregnancy pack and a urine cup sample as I've been told I need to bring one in for the first appointment.
