How long after missed period for bfp?

My Flo app says my period should start today but says time to test isn’t for another 10 days?!

Had tender boobs, sore nipples, bloating, gas, backache, frequent toilet trips, metallic taste and on and off headache for about 5 days now and no period as yet. Waaay more symptoms than I had with my son first time round.

wondering how long you waited to test? Or if you got a bfn and then bfp later? Thanks ☺️

It depends on if you were tracking or not? I tested at 10DPO and I had a very clear positive. This was a week before my period was due.

I tested on day period was due and got my BFP. With my first, I tested 4 days late and got a faint line and a darker one two days later.

These apps like FLO are just a general guide, they can't physically track when you ovulate so just have to go with the data you've inputted from previous months and an educated guess.

I look at my longest cycle over the last 6 months and would consider it to be a missed period if still no AF by then
