Jan 27th Ovulation Week Group

Just wondering if anyone else wants to join, for those of us who will be obsessively counting days and line checking over the next two/three weeks?

Pretty sure my LH peaked on Sunday - but by the dates it should be more like this coming Saturday that I’ll ovulate. Intending to keep trying all week to hopefully get something to stick.

Had a chemical last month - cycle 8 ttc for our first.

Fingers crossed for you too this month - sounds like you still have a few days left yet for it to turn into a BFP ☺️

Ooh interesting that your app and OPKs are so out of whack. I'd trust the strips if they showed a clear rise and then went negative again. Happened to me this cycle too but not so many days out. It predicted I'd ovulate on Wednesday and told me to start the OPKs on Monday. But I'm 99% certain I ovulated on Monday so it's lucky I wasn't solely relying on the app's dates! So Monday 27th I'm pretty sure is when I ovulated.

I'm not disheartened yet as I know it's still early. I'm having lots of fluttering cramps in my pelvic floor but it's impossible to tell if I'm just hyper aware this month as I would get these from time to time when not TTC.

Yeah. Way out! I wish I’d kept testing to see if it peaked twice but we had just decided to try from then on so, at the time - and trying to pretend to be all loosey goosey about the whole thing - We just treated it like any day between cycle day 19 and 27 could be the day.

Obviously now I wish I’d tested through out. 🥴

The peak I had on cycle day 19 was a definite peak though. Test line was darker than the control line - and it usually only shows as trace amounts.

So for now I’m probably counting 12-48 hours from then. Which puts me between 9 and 11 DPO …that feels like scarily running out of time with out so much as a squinter though …even as I type this I know that’s not logical …but it is how I feel.

Do you think you will wait two days? (I feel like I could lie on this chat and say am gonna wait until 6 days before my AF like clear blue suggests - but now I’ve started I’m probably gonna pee on an internet cheapie every day until I either get my AF or + 🙏🙏🙏🙏)

6DPO for me today and trying desperately not to symptom spot! Def been feeling a few twinges last night and this morning but could just be normal and me being hyper aware and got an increase in CM this morning. How's everyone else doing?

@MummyV2021 8 days until Valentine’s Day 🤞! Do you still think you’ll manage to hold out and test then?

It’s so hard not to analyse every twinge - my search history is very telling right now …there’s about 100 ways to end up back up at the same place (that every early pregnancy symptom is also a period symptom 😵‍💫😵‍💫🤦‍♀️)

Im day 31 of on average a 38 day cycle …tested yesterday morning and today …because apparently I will not learn my lesson the easy way. BFP so far and worst of all spotting today (only some streaking when I wipe) - the hopefully part of my heart says what if it is implantation bleeding, the realist in my thinks this isn’t my month 😕.

@RRB do you tend to have a long luteal phase? I only ask as you're around 10/11DPO aren't you? But not due AF for another 7 days? Is that right? Regardless, you can implant anywhere up to 12DPO and then takes a couple of days for HCG to be detectable so still plenty of time! Will keep everything crossed for you!

I do really want to hold out on testing, but I've never been able to before so will see! Guess I just need to keep myself busy between now and then! I think if I start getting symptoms that are unusual I'll be more tempted to test!

So my LH peaked on CD19 (proper peak, test line darker than control line) - but that was earlier than I was expecting, my app predicted I should have ovulated on day 27. Average cycle length 38 days.

So I feel like I’m anywhere between 4 and 12 DPO …but my gut is more like 10/12 based off the LH rather than just going off the apps estimated timescale. Currently CD31 so yea 7 days until AF due.

You’re right I do still have time - I’m just being a lunatic.

Hello girls, can I join ? I'm 5 dpo today, LH peaked on 31 and ovulated on 1st Feb ! I have classic progesterone symptoms like sore boobs and some acne but since implantation can't have happened yet I will try and hold off testing until 10 dpo !
Good luck all ! I always find week 1 post ovulation easy but week 2 is so hard 😅

6dpo over here and not a single notable thing to even begin over analysing 😅
DD is teething and has decided to be up every hour of the night though so perhaps I'm just too sleep deprived to notice!

Thanks girls ! No symptoms for me either as I would attribute these symptoms to my luteal phase anyways !!

@Lila34830 i too have the progesterone sore boobs, just the typical luteal phase sign for me. I’m 8dpo and like you was doing ok the first week. Now I’m struggling & just feel defeated already

@Figtree11 it can be so tiring to wait and wonder ! I totally get you. I decided to not test until 10dpo as I caught a chemical pregnancy in October and I don't want to catch one again for my own sanity !

I have a cold ! 🤧
I'm 6 DPO, I have lower back cramps which is usually common for me a little bit closer to AF but I don't want to give myself fake hopes. I also have hot flushes but pretty sure this is because of my cold 😅

@Lila34830 hope your cold clears off soon! I'm 7DPO today and no symptoms to report so far today! Had a few twinges yesterday but nothing significant. My CM has cleared up again now, which is normal anyway! The waiting is bloody awful isn't it?! I'm sick of living my life in 2 week windows and this is only our 6th cycle trying for #2! I can't imagine what it must be like for people who have been trying a lot longer! Even though I had a chemical and early MC before #1, we only took 4 cycles to conceive. I've already had a chemical and early MC this time so hoping that's my lot before a successful pregnancy! I'm not sure I could take another loss!

We are trying for our first, i think it's my 8th cycle trying now, I had a chemical too, this is why I'm planning on testing quite late as I don't want to catch another one!
AF is due next Thursday for me so in 6 days I guess. I'm ok holding on so far ...
same here regarding CM I have absolutely nothing down there, or at best milky which tallies with progesterone taking over regardless as period is due soon ! When is your period due ??

I had a chemical last month and I don’t know if that’s thrown out everything timings wise. I don’t know what to think - I had some light spotting yesterday but last night a heavier leak (with a small clot 😕) but today…so far.. it’s stopped again. (AF not due until Thursday)

Dr google says implantation shouldn’t have clots - but there are those one or two people who had the same who went on to have successful pregnancies. I feel like the next 24 hours are fairly critical 🫤😕🫤.

I feel like everybody's body reacts so differently, there are rules of thumb and then exceptions ! Do you often spot before periods ?

I spotted when I had my chemical but it was definitely spotting. Light and pink - this has been weird. I really thought my AF had started early but, for now, it’s stopped again. Before last month I’d never spotted before though 🤔!

Im my own worst enemy for early testing. 🫣. If I don’t have anymore bleeding today, I know I won’t be able to help myself testing tomorrow morning. 🫣

It must be so annoying having a cold right now, symptom spotting is head trip on its own without mixing in cold symptoms 😵‍💫😵‍💫!

I'm 11dpo today and have fallen into the trap of testing every day. My luteal phase is a very consistent 14 days so due on Monday. Yesterday and today I've started feeling properly deflated but I know there's still hope. I'm definitely going to try not to test like a crazy woman next time but will let myself be this time until AF arrives, presuming she does!

Looking forward to news of some BFPs in the group soon I hope xx

@RRB when I had my first early MC, it totally threw my next cycle out of whack or so I thought... I started spotting a week before AF was due and turns out I was in fact pregnant again. Sadly that ended up being a chemical pregnancy for me, but I know for others it's been residual blood from a previous loss etc. So could be a number of things... fingers crossed it's a sign of implantation for you and a sticky bean burrowing it's way in!!!
