Another chemical?

I've had 2 chemical pregnancies in the last 2 cycles since ttc baby no2, feeling a bit fed up and not sure if it's happening again this month. I've used wondfo strips rather than easy@home which is what I'd been using before so hard to compare to previous months

What do we think? This is 9dpo-13dpo

Unfortunately I think you just need to give this one time. There’s definitely a faint line and it does look ever so slightly darker each day but I’d say it’s still too early. You could have ovulated later or implanted later, or it could be a chemical. Time is the only definite way to tell.

Panda34 · 26/01/2025 21:14

Thanks @Groundhogday2025 I get you and you're right, just drives you mad the not knowing doesn't it. I'm pretty sure I'm at least 13dpo as had ovulation pains on 12th Jan which I think is usually the day before I ovulate. Time will tell I guess, I'll update in the morning

The only thing that's different this month is that the line has progressed slightly. The last 2 months I've got the faintest line and it's stayed pretty much the same 🤔

I had loads of chemicals ttc for baby 2. I took aspirin in the end which got one to 'stick'.

Panda34 · 26/01/2025 21:20

@Tipperttruck interesting, could I ask what dose you took? I was actually prescribed aspirin from 12 weeks when I was pregnant with dd but can't remember why! Weirdly we had no chemicals when ttc last time but had months and months of bfn.. this time 3 months in a row bfp but not stuck

I also had four or five chemical pregnancies TTC number two and these do look like the lines I had this cycles. I really hope it’s not for you! The cycle I started taking low dose aspirin (recommended by consultant I went to for various investigations) was the one that stuck, could have been a coincidence but seemed to work for me.

Panda34 · 26/01/2025 21:40

@OneGreenKoala Thankyou yeah I'm not feeling too hopeful 🤔, did you continue the aspirin for your whole pregnancy? Pleased it worked for you!

Strange one this morning, got quite a nice pink line but was darker at the top so thought would just do another one with same sample, still pink but not quite as dark. Also spotting a little bit so not sure it's going to stick ☹️

@Panda34 i hope bean sticks! Keep us updated and thinking of you.
I too got a positive today at 13dpo vvvvfl and am wondering if it’s a chemical.
sending you love and luck x

Panda34 · 29/01/2025 20:25

Hi @UserL95 how's your line today? Really hope it's not a chemical

I don't know what to think, my lines seem to have got slowly darker but worried not as dark as they should be by now. I'm 16dpo today (bottom 2 tests from today, morning and eve)

I got 1-2 weeks on a clearblue digital yest just terrified I'm giving myself false hope

Another chemical?

UserL95 · 29/01/2025 21:53

@Panda34 still a vvfl for me today but definite line on easy at home and clear blue (negative on digital but not surprised). Trying hard to only test once per day… hoping for a better line tomorrow.

I’ve never had my own bfp progressions and I know it’s easy to compare to what you see online (also very guilty of this myself) but your lines are very much lines!!

Panda34 · 29/01/2025 22:02

@UserL95 got my fingers crossed for you for tomorrows test, so hard to limit the testing isn't it, I'm driving myself mad when I do another pointless test 2 hours later 🙈

You're right, it's so hard to compare to others online, I guess it varies so much as well. We're trying for number 2 so have my tests to compare with my dd which were darker by now but I used easy@home tests then so can't really compare. Also had a miscarriage and tfmr before dd and 2 chemicals this time so it's hard to get excited when I get a bfp. Take it one day at a time I guess 🙏🏻

Morning @Panda34 - for me I’m 15dpo and still faint lines ! Pic attached. Very much a line but not dark in any way :(. Ive been trying for baby 1 for longer than I like to think about.

how are you doing this morning?

UserL95 · 30/01/2025 08:52

15dpo fmu tests

Another chemical?
Panda34 · 30/01/2025 13:20

@UserL95 that's not bad lines though! Have got my fingers crossed for you 🙏🏻

Mine was maybe ever so slightly darker this morn, find it hard to tell on these strip tests, got some easy@home coming later which I find better so will see!

OneGreenKoala · 30/01/2025 16:33

This looks really promising! I stayed on aspirin until 14 weeks.

Panda34 · 30/01/2025 20:32

Todays tests - this mornings wondfo actually looked quite dark and I was feeling hopeful, this this eves test isn't so dark. easy@home not very dark and more like the test I had at 12dpo with my dd, I'm 17dpo today so that doesn't fill me with much hope. Feel a bit down tonight.

@Panda34 they are very clear lines though! Do you have the opportunity to go get a beta hcg? I had one done today 15dpo and booked a retest for Sunday when I’ll be 18dpo for peace of mind or clarity - either way…

Panda34 · 30/01/2025 21:01

@UserL95 time will tell I guess. That's good you've had that tested, did you just ask your drs?

OP posts:
UserL95 · 30/01/2025 21:40

@Panda34 no I paid privately for it. A clinic nearby offered 2 tests for £99 which seemed like a good offer compared to other places! They said 2-3 days for results but I’m hoping I’ll get them tomorrow.

Panda34 · 31/01/2025 08:34

@UserL95 ah I see, hope yoh get your results today! I've asked my drs if they'll do one, waiting to hear back! Tests still no diff this morning

OP posts:
UserL95 · 31/01/2025 21:05

@Panda34 i didn’t hear back about beta today! Still stressing about my lines looking the same/similar :-(

how are you doing?

Panda34 · 31/01/2025 21:18

@UserL95 oh that's rubbish you're still waiting, are they open at the weekend? I asked my gp today and they said they won't test and to stop worrying and accept that I'm pregnant! Not very helpful.

Think my lines look a bit lighter this eve so not feeling very hopeful.

OP posts:
UserL95 · 31/01/2025 22:25

@Panda34 nhs really suck sometimes! I’m sorry your gp wasn’t any help :(

my evening test was painfully light today too. I keep letting myself get excited and then brutally crash into tears.

lots of cramping, back ache, bits of mild nausea, heightened smell… but feel like none of that matters as much as the lines!!

UserL95 · 02/02/2025 19:43

@Panda34 thinking of you x

Panda34 · 02/02/2025 19:50

@UserL95 sorry I missed your last comment, I only seem to get some notifications!

Sorry your lines have got lighter, any news from your hcg blood tests?

My tests have been weird, I had that lighter test on Friday then yesterday and today were quite dark on wondfos but a lot lighter on easy@home so have no idea what to believe. Think I might do one more in the morning then stop testing and hope for the best, think testing is making it more stressful!!
