Letrozole success stories

Hello, I had a 5mg round of letrozole and my body didn't respond to the medication at all. I'm on my second round and I've upped my dose to 7.5mg and started Metformin to help manage my PCOS. I have my scan booked for CD13 to see if I've responded.

Looking for other people with a similar experience and would love to know your outcomes!

Hi! I was prescribed letrozole by my fertility practice due to pcos and years and years of infertility. The first month I took it, I went for a scan and they said it hadn't worked however, I actually fell pregnant that cycle so I'm not sure how they missed it. Sadly ended up as an ectopic pregnancy but when I was cleared to start ttc again, I concieved the second time taking it. I now have a healthy 2 year old.

I hope it works for you! 🤞

Dd1 was a letrozole baby. I had been taking metformin for around 1yr already, but then needed 3 cycles of letrozole (we conceived on the third cycle), including increasing the dose. She's 3.5y now. I also have a second child who was a natural conception after I lost 12kg. Good luck! My NHS clinic would allow me to do 6 cycles of letrozole before moving to IVF so there's still plenty of time for it to work.
