Hi

I have been pregnant 3 times in 9 months. 1 chemical where I tested positive at 12dpo lines didn’t progress they got lighter and lighter and went to negative by 16dpo and came on my period .

pregnant the month after which I had a MMC at 9 weeks discovered at a meant to be 10week scan. D&C.

TTC again since October. Positive test 4 days ago although very feint at 11/12 DPO.

i have tested for 4 days and tests still positive but not getting darker but not getting lighter. They are just staying the same. Digital not pregnant.

I have no signs of AF and tests don’t seem to be getting lighter ! How long can these light tests just continue ? If the pregnancy isn’t progressing I just want AF. Do I just sit and wait it out? The GP or EPU can’t do anything I don’t think. They aren’t evaps, I dipped some in water and got bf to do one not a hint of a line.

my heart is aching so much. We got our Positive on my 40th birthday and thought 3rd time lucky. We are stopping at 41 but I’m just devastated again xxx

The top 2 are from Friday evening and the bottom 2 this morning FMU. Digi was done this evening.

Oh I'm sorry, you're having a really rough time. It does look like another chemical. My tests stayed that level of positive for a week after I started to bleed (only a few days late for my period) and then went negative again.

Joleyjojo · 19/01/2025 23:32

Done a test tonight , which is darker than todays FMU but not dark. I just want the tests to darken or AF to come. I feel so stressed it’s unbelievable. In had a pack of 2 digitalis one didn’t even have the hourglass come up so that was broken. I have also had a pregnant 1-2 with lighter lines before , I mean don’t get me wrong having a 1-2 weeks means nothing and won’t change the outcome. It’s a big week for me and it’s going to completely take over xxx

Oh it's awful isn't it. Just want to know either way. Really really hope this one is just a bit slow at revealing itself and actually all is fine 🤞

From personal experience, I can recommend working privately with a a specialist - I chose The Fertility Suite as they kind of act as a triage and help you know what areas to prioritise and which specialists to spend your money on.

I had four recurrent chemical pregnancies over a year and am now 39 weeks - for me it was progesterone, which they helped me to get privately as I was never getting to the stage at which the NHS prescribe.

Good luck xxx

I really hope this is a good outcome for you OP.

Please don't give up.

I am 42 and currently 30+3 with DD2 - it took us a long time but we finally got our BFP so it can and does happen.

My tests are still the same very light and not darkening. AF still not arrived. Of course I would love this to work out but i have no doubt this is a chemical and just sat waiting to bleed. X

Hi @Joleyjojo

came across your post as I am going through similar to you, although I hope your outcome is different and your AF does not arrive. I took a test on Sunday as was 3 days late, which came back with a very faint positive. I had some light spotting and then started bleeding yesterday (very dark blood but definitely feels like a period), this will be my 3rd chemical in 6 months. I am yet to test again, think I may leave it till the end of the week.

As I said fingers crossed that it’s a good outcome for you but just wanted to know you’re not the only one feeling worried this week! Sending hugs x

Itonlytakesone · 21/01/2025 12:56

@Joleyjojo feel your pain I had a chemical last week. I decided to buck myself up and order lots of supplements like Co q10 ubiquone, vit d,pregnancy supplement, omega 3, vit c, royal jelly. I'm improving my diet eating more chicken and avocados ect I'm hoping to find that lucky egg maybe next time? I had a blighted ovum last year too. Walking more to help hood flow to the uterus (as you can see iv been down the Google rabbit hole!) I'll try anything plus dh is on pre conception vitamins.
I think it's easy to feel down and it's hard to pick yourself up but I find actively doing things to help gives me focus Hmm

im sorry you are going through this. Unfortunately it’s not a positive outcome. My tests are super super feint and started bleeding not spotting a full bleed so it’s over for me again. I have everything crossed for you , it’s so hard to be positive though. Here if you need to chat xxxx

@Itonlytakesone im sorry you have gone through this too. I have started the Google rabbit hole and also ordered some supplements.

sending lots of love and hope everything works out for us all xxx

Hey @Joleyjojo

thank you ❤️

Unfortunately I had a scan and bloods today at the EPU as my tests were getting darker this week rather than lighter and confirmed they believe it to be an ectopic :(

Getting my bloods done again on Sunday to monitor it, as my Hcg was quite low so they did not decide on medication or an operation at this stage. I’m praying it can resolve itself and that I can just get trying again - although it’s becoming more mentally draining each and every month.

Really hoping you get your BFP soon and that we can add some happy updates to this thread. Big hugs xx

Sorry I haven’t replied I have had a break from the forum.
how are you how are things going ?
I have ovulated CD 14 and now 2dpo. It’s unheard of for me to ovulate at a “normal” time I usually ovulate 22-26 . Hoping and praying this is positive for me. praying to see a BFP and praying baby sticks and stays once I get another BFP.

I hope you are ok x
