Do you just tell him, put it on a shared calendar, or don’t highlight it and just aim to initiate sex if he doesn’t in that week? Mindful of sharing the responsibility but not putting pressure on!

Don't think I ever mentioned it. We just had regular sex, the more fun the better.

Just initiate sex if you want it that day Wink

Just jump his bones. 😁😁

In all honesty having sex for the purposes of conception including all the watching dates etc can suck all the joy and spontaneity out of it enough.
Imo it's best for you both if at least one of you is in it for the fun of it because then you can both get carried away together.

Of course he knows you're trying to conceive but if it is front and centre of both your heads that this day really counts it just gets heavy and that's no fun for you, because it's more fun to be seductive without that.

We talk and communicate? I think as long as you have an open dialogue, and you aren’t carrying the burden alone it’s fine.

And I absolutely wouldn't put it on a shared diary. It would make it sound like a business transaction to me. Half the fun of TTC is actually DTD.

I haven't looked but I think that Temu probably sell a sign that hangs around your neck with the word, in red, stating FERTILE for this purpose.

Rather like those things one has on a sherry bottle, but larger.

I tell him to watch out because it’s go time tonight 😂 or just initiate sex myself

We didn't communicate it for our first two children, but for this third due to life circumstances we are a little more limited on availabilityfor dtd on time . So I just put it out there when we're busy doing other stuff during the day that I'm ovulating in the next day or so etc and then we can both figure out when we can dtd as close as possible to o day and are a bit more prepared so to speak.

We know it's more business than fun around that time and we just have fun the rest of the month without pressure.

I think that's fair enough, especially if it's your third. I'm surprised you get to DTD at all some months Grin
