Bladder symptoms pre-period, in TWW

Bare with me for this one!

Do other people get a frequent urge to wee a few days before they come on their period, that then goes away for a couple of days, then period comes? Like I get it 9 or 10 dpo, then it goes away, then I get period usually 12dpo.

I sometimes get it like that, and occasionally get it that I get the frequent urine just the day before my period.

It's never painful, it's not like a UTI in that sense. Just feels like a lot of pressure on my pelvic floor, and needing a wee not long after I've been.

Wondered what hormones are at play, if anyone knows? And wondered if it's more common than Google suggests?

I never noticed it before TTC but know I'm probably just more in tune with my body than I used to be.
Some months I hoped it was an early pregnancy sign but have come to realise after 12 months and 14 cycles TTC, that it is probably just normal for my cycle as it's happened a few months.

I'm getting it today which makes me think I'm 'out' for this month. I guess given I'm month 12 I'm now officially 'infertile' :(

Yes but I don't know the reason

Always have had this pre-period, along with constipation (such a joyful time 🫤). I've always assumed that just before the period the uterus is swollen in preparation for shedding, and that the swelling then puts pressure on everything around it - bladder, bowel, etc.
Disclaimer: I have absolutely no medical knowledge at all and have simply made my own assumption.

Ohhh I never actually considered that it could be something physical/mechanical rather than hormones. Perhaps that's it! And your cervix moves a bit too doesn't it.
Just confused why it disappears for a couple of days before period materialises, which is making me worry about an early drop in progesterone or something. But I never get spotting so I guess I should try not to worry.
Still no idea why I can't get pregnant though!
