Hi All,

My husband and I are TTC, and I got the implant out on December 2nd (Had it for 6 years).
Fast forward to December 21st, and AF arrived. But it's lasted 2 weeks and still isn't stopping as of January 4th! Fairly light. Should I be concerned? What are your experiences?

Not ever had it removed, but had it replaced. Periods start going loopy as it's running out and take 2-3 months to settle on the new implant. Periods last 2-3 weeks, mostly quite light with 5-6 days much heavier than usual. It's a pain. Hoping that I will be far enough into menopause not to have to bother with it by the time it next needs replacing!

Mine continued to be surprisingly similar. Light and only a few days long.

I had mine removed Dec 2023 after 9 years. My periods got into a pattern pretty quickly (6 days) but my cycles weren't very regular and I would have spotting randomly throughout and a very short luteal phase (9-10 days). It took me 9 months to conceive in the end.
