TW: Chemical Pregnancy

Hi all,

Me and my partner started our ttc baby #2 journey in December and we fell first time, we were both so shocked and over the moon but it unfortunately ended in an early miscarriage at 4 weeks & 2 days. I'm on day 2 of the bleed and was just wondering if this is like a period? Will I ovulate this cycle? And anyone who experienced a chemical pregnancy when did you manage to conceive after?

It's been a really devastating time. We told people after I got a positive digital because it felt safe but it wasn't 💔 having to tell people that it wasn't happening anymore has been tough. But me and my partner are ready to start again this cycle, I was taking Omega 3, Vit D and Folic acid. I've now bought some red maca root for me and also some wellman conception tablets for my partner. I'm really hoping next month is our month as I've heard that fertility is high after a CP.

Does anyone have any success stories about conceiving after a CP?

My first cycle trying to conceive my daughter I had a CP. Cycle 2 was a weird cycle where I thought I was ovulating (wasn't using OPKs but had my normal EWCM) so had sex twice in that time. But then a few days after that had EWCM again for a few days. We didn't have sex in that time but I think that was when I actually ovulated. I think my cycle was thrown off by my CP.

Cycle 3 was back to normal and we tried at the right time but I didn't get pregnant. Then cycle 4 we only tried once 4 days before ovulation and it worked to conceive my daughter.

I had my first loss in August, 3rd pregnancy so was so shocked it was happening as my two pregnancies before that I had no issues . I didnt ovulate properly until October I had none of my usual ovulation signs and cramps and my Gp said it can take a few months to ovulate properly again. Im still trying and in the tww now. I was led to believe I would be super fertile after a miscarriage but it wasnt the case for me

Hey I found out I was pregnant in October but began bleeding a week later, epu said re test in 2 weeks still said positive so I was back and forth at the epu all through November for bloods and scans, they could see something small in my uterus but wasn't sure what but it had never grown so towards the end November they finally said I had a miscarriage. I was booked in for surgery 2nd December because my body just couldn't flush out the remaining tissue but luckily on 1st December I had a huge bleed and had my hcg levels checked on the 2nd and they were 45 then 3 days later negative pregnancy test
Fast forward 18th December I got a positive opk test (I had loads of EWCM for a few days before) and 12 days later I got a positive pregnancy test. I still can't believe I got pregnant without a period after my miscarriage but I'm trying to remain positive but the anxiety is so real
