12 dpo - BFP but red blood when wiped!?

Hi!
I am 12 dpo. Tested stark white negative this morning on a clearblue ultra early.
Just tested on a cheap (Tesco?) test and got a bfp! But literally when I wiped after taking the test I had red blood so thought AF had arrived!
Waited 3 mins to check the test and nearly jumped out of my skin to see a second line!?

Am I going mad??? Could this be a false positive???

Is there any chance that this one will stick. It's my second pregnancy and for my first I had a bit of brown spotting but nothing like this.

Any help would be so appreciated!

I’m in the same boat - same thing happened to me this morning. Just wait and see I think, I’ve been bleeding today but lighter than a typical period. I don’t have much hope though.

Fingers crossed for you! I had a tiny tint of brown/pinky today when wiping. Only the once. Period is due tomorrow but I don't feel like it's on its way. I also don't feel pregnant I have to admit, but I'm getting tingling boobs.

I've had heavy bleeding now and it's bright red so don't think there is any hope 💔

Really sorry to hear that, not nice at all. Surprised how low I'm feeling to be honest. Trying to be positive and focus on next month :)
