Hi
I am never late on my period unless pregnant (4 pregnancies) I’m 28 so I doubt it’s menopause related. I’ve always been every 28 days.

I ovulated Friday the 13th of December by ovulation tests. I don’t do anything other than take ovulation tests and this is our first month trying.

Ive been testing since 11dpo and had nothing, not even a faint line. Yesterday I thought I was out but this morning I had one more test left so thought I’d double check before being concerned about period absence and it was positive but very faint. I went out and got 4 more tests (Tesco own brand, clear blue, first response and clear blue digi) they all showed very faint but clearly visible light pink lines apart from the digi which said not pregnant.

I know people may say I ovulated later but I only had sex once this cycle which was on the Friday, my husband is in the marines so we only had one opportunity this month.

Is this normal?

It can be normal, sometimes implantation is late or the hormone rise is slow. Sometimes though it's the first sign that the pregnancy isn't viable. There's really no way to tell except waiting and seeing. You're pregnant today - congratulations! - and no worrying you do about it will change the outcome tomorrow (or the next day etc).

Sperm can survive up to 5/6 days so you could have ovulated up to the 18th, and you’d only be 11dpo now!

You may have implanted later! You can implant as late as 14dpo! I would try and test again tomorrow with another brand to confirm x

I fell pregnant in February this year. I tested with an early test the day my period was due and it was negative. I assumed i was out that month because surely an early test would detect a pregnancy on the day my period was due!? Anyway as it was a two pack test, i tested the next day since no period came. Nothing came up within ten minutes but after 45 minutes a faint pink line was visible. I went and bought a digital the next day and it said 'not pregnant'. It wasnt until 4 days after period date that i got a 'pregnant 1/2 weeks'. I just assume i ovulated late or implanted late.
