also read on website peeonsticks if you have spotting should test 2-4 days after as it can take this long for it to realise enough hcg and for it to implant

nobodyputsBBinthecorner · 05/05/2008 17:47

Just watched the Newcastle Vs Chelsea match which my brother went to as he is a die hard Chelsea fan and he was on the tv!!! They showed him singing! He was also interviewed after the game so the whole family is watching out for him on Sky Sports News.

I've decided to start driving lessons again as I don't want to spend my entire maternity leave stuck inside again so I am determined to learn.

NatalieJane · 06/05/2008 07:10

Good morning

Tink, sorry about BFN, but as you say it was too early, and if that brown stuff was implantation the hCG wouldn't have started building up. Good luck for todays test (LOL just do it, I haven't got the time to keep nagging! )

Plan today is to empty the kitchen - wish us luck!!

DS1 was awake in the night with really bad ear ache, he isn't up yet so don't know if he is going to school or not. If it is no better I think we will be going to the docs today, never mind ringing them! But I have done his lunch so he better be bloody going!!

Right, on with the day! Have a good one everyone xxx

Squack · 06/05/2008 08:09

Was very emotional yesterday, wanted to have a good cry over absolutely nothing which is sure fire sign my period will be here today as that only happens either day before or day of cd1.

Lots of cramps yesterday and continuing today.

Had a great temp today but it's not accurate as I woke a bit later and was sleep deprived last night.
Baby squack was poorly last night & I'm knackered this morning.

Wish my temp was for real

Cal, yes it's no.4 for us

Moos, I've weighed myself yesterday as I don't understand why I'm not pg yet. I don't weigh enough I think.

If I fall below 7-9 I don't conceive. one more thing to think about.

tinkishopeful · 06/05/2008 08:15

morning squack

hope that af doesnt get you
sorry for baby squack hope she gets better soon

NatalieJane · 06/05/2008 08:20

Tink another hooray for high temp I am soooo excited for you (but you will cave and test before Saturday, well you will if I have anything to do with it!)

Squack, sorry about illness, I am feeling it as well! Luckily DS1 seems OK now, so the lunch won't be wasted! Am keeping fingers crossed for you as well, pre-period symptoms are obviously well known for being early pregnancy symptoms (If period doesn't come today, are you going to test?)

Morning all,

Just had a bit of a panic. I woke up and had some brown blood in my knicker. But I rang the EPU and they said it was nothing to worry about and if it turned red to come in tomorrow morning. She said it was due to GOFing which has put me off a little bit.

I hope baby Squack and Nat's DS1 are better soon.

Squack · 06/05/2008 08:24

No won't test NJ, that road lies madness. If I don't come on today or tomorrow I'll wait for 18 high temps i think.

Go answer my new thread peeps please. I need a smidge of hope.

NatalieJane · 06/05/2008 08:42

Kay, very scary GOF won't cause red blood, it just dislodges some of the old stuff, you might find as well that if you go back through your dates, that if you weren't pregnant, you'd be about due on, lots of women get some old blood loss at around that time, some get it the whole way through the pregnancy!

Squack, you are a hard hard woman I need a tester....!

Tink, it is looking good I am nearly sure you must be pregnant

kayzisexpecting · 06/05/2008 08:44

Apparently it very common so she said not to worry about it so I'm not going to.

Squack · 06/05/2008 08:59

Ah wait a minute it can be red after sex if he bashed your cervix, I got this with my second pg. M/w said it was cervical erosion and not to worry about it, but if it was more than a bit of spotting to go to the EPAU.

Hopefully it's nothing to worry about.

I'm very crampy tho' NJ, not hopeful. I will test if I get to Thursday and I'm still clean.

However, I will probably pee on the postie's hand tomorrow in my haste to get the sticks, is a much more likely scenario

kayzisexpecting · 06/05/2008 09:07

It was only a really small amount so it's probably nothing.

Nat, you were right. I would've been on my period now. So maybe it was that.

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 06/05/2008 09:20

Yes sorry Squack is right, but I think your cervix has to be vunerable to erosion before sex would cause a bleed, might be wrong though!

Thought I'd follow Kays lead and do a name a change, do you like? It even kind of rhymes!

Can you tell DH isn't here? Have spent far too long on here already, and I don't give a shit! It is the first time I have sat down properly since Friday! And I am knackered after DS1 being awake in the night!

Squack · 06/05/2008 09:35

c'mon NJ what is the liklihood of it being +ve today and if it's not, can a clear -ve today turn out to be a +ve tomorrow?

Would todays not need to be faintly +ve today?

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 06/05/2008 09:41

At some point a test turns from being a BFN to a BFP, if you catch that change over then yes.

When I got the first BFP on Friday, it was a very very clear BFP, which means if I'd have tested the day before I may well have got a faint BFP, or even a BFN. Just depends how quickly the hCG is building up.

witchandchips · 06/05/2008 09:42

have lurked on these threads but did not want to post to much for fear of tempting fate BFP for me! I was due to start IUI cycle this week so very suprising and very good

DS (3) has also decided that there might be a baby in his tummy and wees on an old test every time he goes into the bathroom

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 06/05/2008 09:44

Welcome Witch

Do you mean you have got a BFP? If so congratulations

And bless your little DS!

calsworld · 06/05/2008 11:15

PMSL Squack at peeing on postie's hand!!

Morning all, another day working from home today, DS is better sort of, he's at nursery anyway. He was very whingy and clingy yesterday and kept randomly bursing into tears which is SOOO unlike him. Normally he's really placid and easy-going. He had a temperature too and have spotted a new tooth so wonder if its all down to that. Poor little boy.

Tink, chart is still looking very good, got my fingers crossed for you.

Today I still have a little bit of tummy ache, almost a bit AF like, but its a bit early for that (CD24 today) and boobs ache, they feel full and heavy.

Christ I hate the 2ww. Need support or will go round the bend...I don't want to get my hopes up (please don't tell me to test yet!) but can't seem to stop myself from questioning whether every tweak, twang and twinge could possibly mean that I'm pg.

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 06/05/2008 11:18

The questioning is perfectly natural on and even before-- the 2ww! When are you due on? How much longer have you to wait?

Glad DS is a bit better, those back teeth are buggers aren't they?!! DS2 is on his 5th back one, grumpy little might he is! Can't blame him mind, I can still remember the pain from my wisdom teeth!

tinkishopeful · 06/05/2008 11:24

teething is a nightmare my dd1 has just got two big back ones to get has always had problems when they are coming through
cheers cal
welcome witch & congrats

kayzisexpecting · 06/05/2008 11:42

Love the name Nat, suits you. Any morning sickness this time?

Juat been out to the pet shop to look at fish. We are going to get a tank at the weekend. I love fish and DS is amazed by them.

We bought some reins while we were out and DS walked around town. He did grab hold of the railings over the bridge and wouldn't let go of them. He was watching the ducklings. They are so cute.
