Sorry I know this is boring for many of you but is spotting an early sign of pregnancy?

I never spot. Only have proper periods. And when I was pregnant with DS I never spotted. We are ttc DC2 and its early days but I was spotting. No bleeding now for a few days just those few little spots. I took one test and the results were inconclusive so I took another test and it said negative but still no AF. Its hard for me because my periods have not been regular since DS was born (he is 20 months) so I dont know when I am late or not so dont know when to test.

An implant bleed maybe? Is it red or brown?

Well, spotting can be implantation bleeding, but only about 1 in 5 women get it, so it might just be spotting! I read on the back of a pg test that if you don't know when your period is due, wait 17 days from the time you had unprotected sex and then test. Though that does rather assume that you have sex less often than once every 17 days. Its horrible, the not knowing, isn't it?

yes I hate it. I just want to know! grrr! I keep dreaming I am and then wake up and its such a tease!

I am trying to remember the blood colour - it was a few days ago and there was only a little of it. I am going to sit on the fence and say it was reddy brown. I dont remember. I seem to remember one drop was red one was brown. sorry tmi.

well all I can say is that this has happened to me on more than one occasion.

Am not pregnant - came on today and its a terrible one, heavy, cramps, hot, tired all the worst. Oh well. Wish me luck for next month.
