Has anyone managed to get pregnant when having sex, just once, 4 days before ovulation?

Yesterday my husband had an accident (selfish, I know) and his back has gone. Typically I should ovulate tomorrow and we've only had sex once, 3 days ago.

I'm 38 so I need every month to be on target 😂

I'm pretty sure I conceived my daughter with sex once 4 days before! I was quite surprised!

Yes me! I'm currently 30 weeks pregnant and the month I conceived, DP and I only had sex once 4-5 days before ovulation. We were shocked 😂

Yes I did, with my first and I was then travelling with work when I got the positive ovulation test, I had ruled us out for that month

If you didn’t want to get pregnant, and you had unprotected sex 4 days before ovulation, you’d defo have been panicking that you’d be falling pregnant. If you look at it that way round I find it brings a bit of perspective each month when wondering if I’ve dtd enough 😂 It’s officially part of your fertile window according to almost any resource based on studies so definitely a chance there op. Yes! DH was away with work during my fertile period so we only had sex once and it was 3 or 4 days before ovulation. I thought I was out that month. Good luck OP!

Well I'm 9dpo today and bfn. I use the 10mlu extra sensitive tests and not even a shadow.

My photography skills are as good as my fertility!!

Sorry to hear that OP. 9dpo is still very early - lots of women wouldn't have even a faint line at that point. I get that you don't want to get hopes up though. I really hope you get your BFP. If not this month, then very soon. Sending positive energy xx

In the old days me contraception was simply don't have sex between dats 10-16. I had sex dayb9 of my period and conceived I was nowhere near ovulation

AF arrived today so on to the next cycle!
