Positive test after chemical pregnancy

I had a chemical 2 weeks ago and yesterday I did a test out of interest, and a pink line appeared straight away. I'm almost certain I can't be pregnant again this soon after a chemical. Partner can't see anything but can anyone else see what I can see?? More tests are in the post so I won't be able to take another for a few days, and the anxiety of not knowing is killing me

I can’t definitely see the line!

Sorry meant to say can!

Was it a chemical that disappeared before AF was due? When I had an early miscarriage (can't have been more than 5 weeks) the lines hung around for another 3 weeks....

Yes, I got several negatives then started bleeding. I didn't get any lines at all since yesterday so I'm guessing it could be a new pregnancy. I'm going to book myself an appointment I think to make sure

I can’t see anything I’m sorry, but has the test dried fully ? As the whole area looks a bit pink/flooded

I'm actually hoping I'm not pregnant as I'd have 2 under 3 😩this was a few minutes after but it's dried with a full pink line. No flooding on there. This is probably a better photo, compared with my old positive tests. Everyone are telling me congratulations on my Facebook group so I'm baffled

See I'm so confused, because on a a Facebook group they're saying they definitely can't see anything. But it looks darker than some of my positives with my previous pregnancies 🙈 Oh well I suppose I'll have to wait a few days and test again. I don't know how I feel about 2 under 3!

@Crazyfarmgirl I would do another test because if you had a chemical just 2 weeks ago you would most likely just be ovulating now. These tests sometimes give light false positives too which I have personally been stung with in the past 🙈

I'm definitely leaning towards them being false positives, in which case these are absolutely awful ones! Unless something else is going on I'm not aware of

@Crazyfarmgirl I know it's so awful isn't it?! I once got a really dark one and got really excited just for it to be negative the next day 😩 so cruel! Wishing you all of the luck in your journey x

Crazyfarmgirl · 03/12/2024 20:22

Thanks all. Turns out it was just a nasty evap! Took another and it was negative

This is this mornings, line didn't come up until past the time line though. So it must be another really bad evap!!

I'd be surprised if that's an evap - it looks very pink and that doesn't look like a sensitive test, unless I'm mistaken? Can you get referred to your local EPU to try and work out what's going on?

That wasn't the best photo of it, this one shows the line better. The control line didn't appear after 10 minutes so I assumed it was invalid. I took it very early this morning about 2am, then woke up to the line there. I'm going to take another in the morning to be certain. If I'm still getting faint lines I'll call the EPU and see what they say
