How many days after implantation bleeding for BFP?

If you’ve have implantation bleeding how long was it until you got your bfp?

I never spot in my luteal phase ever but this month had some light pink spotting in the evening on 7dpo and a very small amount yesterday morning (8dpo) that has now completely stopped. Also a tiny amount of brown ewcm??

I tested this morning with boots early test and BFN so feeling quite disheartened and like my body is playing tricks on me as it always seems to do in the tww!!

Am I testing to early? How long after implantation bleeding would you expect a bfp? And if the bleeding turns out not to be implantation what could it be?

I'd wait and retest in 2 day intervals or weekly. So wait two days then test, wait another two days then test and repeat the same way with weekly testing. Remember you can have naturally low HCG and not get a positive until 14 days after your missed period. Some people get false negatives for months when they have multiples too. Every month can be different and every body is different with hormonal responses. If a fortnight after your missed period, you still have no period and negative tests, I'd suggest a blood test to check your levels.
If the bleed isn't related to implantation it could be a vast number of things from stress to infection, illness or otherwise. Note any other differences/ changes you notice as this will help the drs.
